"A bit of a caper, full of snappy prose and situations as funny as they are suspenseful ... the characters remain winning throughout, and young readers will find a lot to like here." - Publishers Weekly BookLife Prize in Fiction
"Mature teens and new adults are brought along for an involving ride that moves well beyond a genre romance and into the realm of hijinks, adventure, and psychological understanding in a fun, thought-provoking read highly recommended for audiences seeking something different and more realistic than romance-tinged novels usually offer."

About the Author
Alex Tully lives outside Cleveland with her husband, two teenagers, and a dog named Trooper. Fifteen years ago her life took a dramatic turn with a diagnosis of MS. She decided to quit her career as a finance professional and try something she truly loved - writing.
Her debut novel, Hope for Garbage, a coming-of-age story, was released in 2014 and her latest novel, Beautiful Chaos, was released in summer 2016. Both are filled with ordinary characters overcoming extraordinary circumstances, both are filled with the message of hope.
Her hope is that readers will smile after turning the last page.
She is hard at work on her third novel.

One night, Brady, who normally settles up with his dad’s customers once a week at a local bar, makes the fateful decision to leave before the last customer arrives. He and a friend have concert tickets, and he hopes he can drop the money off on the way, to avoid being late. Well, fate intervenes in the form of a beautiful redhead named Vivienne, who inadvertently takes and misplaces the envelope meant for the father of Chad, her now former boyfriend. In both Brady and Chad‘s case, like father like son, and the plot revolves around Vivienne and Brady’s attempt to retrieve the lost money while the former boyfriend attempts to retrieve Vivienne, and make trouble for Brady’s dad. But the real story is the sweet romance between Brady and Vivienne, who are both likable and relatable characters who ring true to this mom of teens. Tully captures the glow of young love perfectly, and as with her first novel, she also paints a warm and vivid picture of life in Cleveland. I’m sure fans in Cleveland and all over the country will cheer for Brady and Vivienne to find their own happy ending. The best YA book I've read in years!
I am quickly becoming a fan of this author and I will definitely be back for more of his titles.
That being said, the writing was lovely and the story itself was exciting and I was so enthralled that I finished the book in about a day!
