Frustration, sadness, thankfulness and satisfaction, all accompanied me on this journey of A Series of Moments. The author brings dimension to the final book with a plot twist I didn't see coming. Without giving away any spoilers all I can say this, well done to the talented M.L. Broome for delivery such a complex labyrinth of emotions with realistic characters that I grew to love and at times even hate. I truly loved this series and I'll be looking for more books by this author!

The love story, with all of it's ups and downs, is wonderful. I first met Lilly and Jacob in Romance Under the Mistletoe. Their beginning story is in there. I had to know the ending so purchased the rest. That is why they did NOT get five stars! I hate it when the author leader the reader hanging so you have to buy the rest to know the ending!! I won't be getting anymore of this authors books for that very reason!

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.

Jacob has not been feeling good and proceeded to start drinking heavily.
He finds out that he had visiter in his trailer he sees his sister and his best friend sitting there. A Jacob couldn’t take it anymore about he hurt Lilly again. He had proposed to her and then the thing with Victoria was the last straw. Lilly knew she had to get as far away from Jacob maybe moving back home to the states. Jacob was really beside himself and wanted a paternity test but Victoria kept insisting it would hurt the baby. His sister Janie called Lilly and told Jacob to shut up while she put the phone on speaker. She asked Lily how they can do a paternity test without hurting the baby Lilly told Janie they can do it with a blood test. Jacob calls out to Lilly at which point she said she had to go she had blocked his number so she would not accept texts either. Lilly wound up going for a drink and while she was there Dr Torres sit down at her table.
He said he wanted to apologize for the way things went down and acted like an ass. Then he tells her he is no longer single. Lilly asked if it was Emma but he said no but it was someone she knew well. Roger and Lilly was on the Tube when a blast happened and Roger passed away. Lilly wound up in hospital Jacob rushed to her side. Then of course her nemesis Victoria shows up and tells Lilly more shit and Lilly somewhat believe her she was there to take Lilly to the funeral. Victoria wouldn’t stop making Lilly life hell and Jacob is freaking out. Lily decided that she would send Jacob back to Victoria. Jacob only loved Lilly and everyone knew it but Lilly she thought that she was his obligation. Edward told Jacob to hang in there for Lilly and then he made a confession. Twists, turns and love.

So this book starts with Jacob being miserable after ripping Lilly’s heart out. I was ready to read if someone from the book would be punching Jacob in the face but his letter to Lilly had me convinced there was nothing else he could have done, then he FINALLY stood up for what he loved OMG!!! It was a breakfast club fist-punching moment!!! Lilly and Janie’s friendship was another thing I loved reading how it evolved from book 1, because they cared for each other no matter how things where between Lilly and Jacob.

There are a lot of words you could use to describe this book. Predictable is for sure NOT one of them.
With this book, I think I finally understood why they acted like kids throwing a tantrum when they weren’t sure of the other’s feelings, I think it’s because their adoration, devotion and love for each other was so big that they couldn’t believe that the other felt the same way for them. I think it blew their minds that the person they had the most loved and admiration for would love them equally back.

After everything Lilly and Jacob went through in this book, I now understand what Lilly was to Jacob. She was the person that showed him who he really was and the love he both deserve and had to give, but was to scared to recognize he wanted. She was his, in all sense and he was willing to move mountains just to ensure his little angel was safe and always felt protected, After all they’ve been through, he was not going to be waisting anymore time apart. They saw right through each other and I felt the “lover rush” while reading this book and how their whole story ended (I’m so sad it’s over!) but the epilogue melted my heart!
This is the 3rd book of a trilogy and you need to read the previous 2 to get this one!

Book 3 picks up exactly where the last left off and we see Jacob trying to fix the mess he created.

I have to say the ML Broome succeeded in simultaneously making me want to thrown this book at the wall and not being able to put it down. It. Was. Very. Frustrating.

I honestly thought there was no way that the Author could make me like these characters again. At one point early on I hated everyone and didn’t even want Lilly and Jacob to have a happy ending. But the series wrapped up brilliantly and despite not wanting to I still loved the ending.

I like that nothing in this love story was forced and the mini-epilogue at the end was just perfect.

Can’t wait to see what the Author comes out with next!

SPOILER AHEAD!!

The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the plot twist with the tube. I think something different may have worked better here for ex. If the tube had derailed instead of being the subject of a terrorist attack it would have possible worked better. The political slant here was jarring.

But I still loved every second of this book!

I love the way they story ended, even though I wanted to smash their heads at certain points whilst reading 😂
Final book of the series brought out what’s best about Lilly and Jacob and made me fall in love with them once again. I wish they wouldn’t be so blind to see what they mean to each other.
I love this story and I love the way it’s written. Took me a week to read the whole series, which is quite unusual, but I couldn’t put it down. I spent every spare moment reading 🤷🏽‍♀️ @mlbroomeauteur You have me under your spell ❤️
