Ariel Montgomery has a past she would like to forget, but just her very existence made living a normal life relive one fateful day six years ago. Allowing love in her future, was not a risk she was willing to take. Because in the end, she knew in her heart and soul that it would end with her being broken and alone.
Damon Black, the gorgeous lead singer of a band that always had a standing gig at the bar where Ariel worked. Damon is a man that most women flock to. He’s undeniably a swoon worthy guy and once he gets his sights set on Ariel he makes it his mission to earn her trust.
I am not one to give spoilers on books, but I will tell you that this is a must read. I laughed, cried, and became emotionally invested in these characters. I am so excited to read book 2 in the series. Job well done, Ms. Gina Sevani!
Heart breaking, heart melting Beautifully Damaged has made me fall!!!!
Sometimes you have to fall to find out you're unbreakable… even when you're beautifully damaged the pieces fix themselves. All you have to do is put everything you have left in the hands of another person. Trust, love, and let go. If only it was that easy.....
Find out why Ariel and Damon's Beautifully Damaged story is Breathtakingly Beautiful. They say "Life is measured not by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away."
The main characters Ariel and Damon will steal your heart and take your breath away with each page you turn. Get ready to fall.
Girl hides her past.
Walls are up.
Boy is an alpha, singer/guitarist with women throwing themselves at him.
Boy feels a pull towards girl.
This book made me laugh with the banter, cry when we learn of the past, and want to shake Ariel.
The words flowed and sucked me in where I was lost in the world of Gina's mind and loved every minute of it.
Looking forward to more from thus author.
Beautifully Damaged is a super addictive new adult romance. From the first page I fell in love with Ariel and her barbed personality. Even if she felt she was mean those around her didn't seem to see it. She meets her match with Damon. Once he meets her she's the only one he wants and he's out to prove it and earn her trust. Ariel doesn't make it easy on him but slowly he get in her system and she can't let go. Though I know this story is about Ariel, I can't help have have many more questions that were unasnwered about Damon and am hoping there's a sequel. Beautifully Damaged is a story about learning to trust and love after living a damaged life.
Bummer. I'm actually surprised I lasted this long. The h was so obnoxious! I didn't get any of that impression from the sample, but almost immediately after the sample ended and the purchased portion began -- I started getting annoyed. There is way too much inner dialogue IMO, because I started skimming through the long parts of irrelevant information pretty much right away. She was extremely immature. I get that she had some type of trauma in her past <spoiler> they've hinted at her parents and little sister were murdered</spoiler>, but no major details had been provided by 49%. I still don't feel like that trauma justifies her immature behavior. (For examples with spoilers, check out my goodreads review). I just couldn't stand her! I don't get why the H was so drawn to her -- and it wasn't the "golden vagina" thing either, because they've only kissed by the time I dnf'd. Oh!!!!! WAY too many exclamation points IMO!!! Even in whispers!!! <--- *insert sarcasm*. This is definitely a big pet peeve of mine, because it makes it hard to take the writing seriously when they're put in when they're really not necessary.
Sorry, I just couldn't do it. Too bad I lost the $2.99 on Amazon :(
