I discovered Kimberly Snyder through her previous books and quickly became a fan! As a certified nutritionist who has explored foods around the world; knows her craft ; and has worked with clients to change their habits and bodies; she has a unique and detailed perspective on food. Though I always thought of myself as fairly educated in health and diet, I found myself learning so much from her books and really thinking more about the foods my family and I eat! Some facts were literally eye opening!

This book is very different - it looks a lot more at the mind-body connection - that impacts how we eat, look and feel about ourselves. A lot of the book seems to focus on people who feel very self critical ; maybe lack self esteem; and these thoughts manifest itself in treating the body with distain not minding what we eat and how we live our lives. if you are generally a positive person and do not seek a need to change your mindset, this might not be the best book for you. However, if you look in the mirror and tell yourself you are not good, / thin / pretty enough ; this book is a powerful tool in changing those mindsets.; and in turn how you can transform your body.

The book looks at various topics, such as addressing childhood issues, old habits and fear; thinking beyond food, the root of fat and limitations of ego. Each topic has a case study from a client and is also accompanied by stunning photography in inspirational settings.

There is a really great section on food cravings; with advice for overcoming specific food cravings - such as keeping a record how you felt after you indulge in those cravings, healthy substitutes; and topics for dealing with each type of craving. And I loved the chapter on chakras - talking about energy flow, balance ; and food types that connect with each Chakra.

However, my favorite part of this book; is a reason I am a fan in the first place and loved the previous publications - the recipes. Though I have a plethora of cookbooks, the only standing recipe I go to again and again ,was from her previous publication -an awesome red pepper dip that lives in my fridge at all times! This book did not disappoint. The raw red pepper cream cheese endive bites are delicious and unlike most variations of cashew cheese that requires soaking and long prep times, thus took minutes to make and was so good, it was gone in minutes!! Another go to for me! The zucchini beauty sauce is also amazing and the Calcutta Kale chips are addicting...though you might have to play around with oven times and heat on this one, unless you have a dehydrator! Next on the list, the triple later raw chocolate mint cream bars!

I loved the fact that this book has a very different take on foods, health and why we do the things we do, while offering positive affirmations throughout! Kimberley has a very cool, inspirational philosophy and continues to deliver recipes that are truly different delicious and super easy to prepare which is always appreciated! I will continue to remain a fan and reference this book; through primarily for the recipes!

I have never heard of Kimberly Snyder until I came across her podcast on iTunes. I am on a journey to healing my mind, body and hormones and I instantly vibed with her podcast since I was on a leaky gut diet trying to heal my gut. I purchased her 1st book and loved it so much I read it in 3 days. ( I am not an avid reader) so that says something. From there I decided to give the GGS Smoothie a try and it has become a staple to my day. I also checked out her site and found out she sold a soil based probiotic ( which i was already taking pre-script) and Detoxify basically Mag07 all cheaper than what I was taking. Fast forward 3 weeks implementing the basics in Beauty Detox Solutions I decided to order this book to see if I could get anything out of it from a non-nutritional standpoint of healing. I read reviews and was hesitant but OMG am I so glad I purchased this book!!!!! It's soooooo fundamental to healing in general but gears to those who are looking to " loose weight". I especially appreciated the candor and honesty that Kimberly shares with us about her experiences, others, and being real about how to see and maintain changes. There were some reviews that mentioned her advertising her products and talking too much about her personal story but I didn't get that vibe at all. On a side note I always find it funny how people get so "sensitive" when independent entrepreneurs advertise themselves or their products but say nothing about the large big mogul business that do ur harm instead of good and constantly advertise! Side rant but I almost didn't buy this book until I thought she is advertising good even if It is a lot . I learned some tips/steps to deal with past traumas/feelings. How to use yoga and food to heal depending on what I am looking to address emotionally, and more recipes that sound delicious. I admit at first I looked at the recipes and thought this lifestyle cost so much but if you just buy the base stuff then all you need to grab is fruits and veggies each week or biweekly which is nominal if shopping smart . Overall you spend less long term and become happier and healthier. I happen to think I needed this book first before reading any other book on losing weight, nutrition, or aryuveda ( which I have been practicing and exposed to for a year). This book explains why for everything you do and makes total sense🤓. Two thumps up and I will be buying a hard copy also.

I am really enjoying this third book of Kimberly Snyder I think it might be my favorite. I love the whole part on the chakra and her whole approach to complete well-being and so far all the recipes that I have tried are amazing!

Ich bin jetzt schon seit einiger Zeit ein "Jünger"...lol. Ne im Ernst. Ich habe mit diesem Buch jetzt das 3. von ihr und ihre Art zu erklären und darzustellen, warum etwas wie funktioniert finde ich nicht nur einleuchtend, sondern auch easy nachzuvollziehen. Und...es wirkt. Natürlich ist dies nicht der der "ich schnipp mit dem Finger und alles ist wie gewünscht" Weg...aber man kann die Fortschritte sehen, an der Haut, am Wohlbefinden und auch an der Figur. Klar...es könnte gewichtsmäßig immer etwas schneller gehen. Wir Frauen sind ungeduldig, was das betrifft. Und im Zeitalter zahlloser TV-Sendungen über Schönheitsideale oder auch Biggest Loser und Co....da ist man schon versucht, denen nachzulaufen, wohl wissend wie ungesund und auch wenig haltbar dieser Weg ist.
Also ich bin begeistert und kann sie jedem, der seine Lebensgewohnheiten zu Gunsten seiner Gesundheit umkrempeln will, nur wärmstens ans Herz legen. Wer Englisch kann, macht weiter auf ihrer Homepage. Wr müssen keine Vegetarier oder Veganer werden um trotzdem erfolgreich zu werden. Sie zeigt ganz klar, dass die Erfolge eintreten...in meinem Tempo und zu meinen Konditionen, so lange ich bereit bin, gesünder zu leben. Und die Regeln sind einfach und einfach nachvollziehbar und vor allem einfach integrierbar.
