If you like really FIRM mattresses - this is your choice!
I tried so many of them in mattress stores, even some super "firm" memory foam ones - they were all too soft for us.
My husband and I are from Europe, originally from different regions of it, but we both find the firmest mattresses the most comfortable and ones that give the best support for your back. I heard from salesmen that many people from Europe prefer firm' over 'soft'. I guess we are those people! :)
I know for a fact it IS a big challenge to find this sort of mattress in US because most of people prefer soft ones. So they often don't even display them in shops.
Believe me it is very unlikely that you will find more "firm" option than this .
Not mentioning a good price.
I AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

Update.
I take one star off.
After about half a year the mattress got slightly deformed. Whatever is inside of the mattress, it's sagging up. We have an average weight, I'm about 135 lb, husband is about 220 lb.
Too bad, because for the first few months it was absolutely perfect 😔. But it didn't last as long as our previous mattress. Nowhere near as long.

SMALLER THAN ADVERTISED in length and depth! Not what was ordered - VERY disappointed!

After 2x complaining to the seller, USM, that the mattress still had not arrived by the date range Amazon had promised, the seller was able to get the delivery company to hop to it, and it was delivered finally within 6 weeks of ordering. OK, that's in the past.... what is NOT in the past is FALSE ADVERTISING of the size of this California King mattress made for BeautyRest. The California King is advertised on Amazon.com's site as being 72" x 84" (standard for a Cali. King) by 12" deep. Wrong! The size I received is only 10" deep (I wouldn't have even ordered it if I knew it was under 12" ) and only 80" long. Now, 80" long is standard for a queen or typical king size bed, but this is supposed to be a California King, and what you give up in the width, you should get in the length- another 4", which I did not receive. This was my first king-sized bed, and so I purchased a brand new Cali.King bed frame (and sheets and a mattress protector) to match it. Well, as you can see in the photos, the new bed frame is too long, for this too short mattress. The manufacturer's legally required tag lists that it was made on July 9, 2020 - 9 days after I ordered it. WHERE IS THE QUALITY CONTROL AT THE FACTORY? How could they let this obvious mistake out of the factory?

This mattress was advertised as extra firm, and that is why it was purchased. It is supposed to be 12 inches thick but is only 10 inches. It is so soft that when you sit on it, it sinks about 5 inches. Perhaps a layer of something was left out. I purchased it for a relative who needs a hard surface for his back. He has tried to sleep on it but has to go to the sofa or floor to be able to sleep any. I contacted the seller and was supposed to hear from them within 48 hours.....no response? Delivery was also delayed several times but finally arrived a month late. I've bought Beautyrest before before and was very pleased, but something is wrong here.

Before this purchase, I had a Beautyrest Luxury Firm mattress, and it was okay. Not as firm as I would have liked. So when it was time for a new queen bed, I decided to go for the Extra Firm. Wow! What a difference. It's hard as a rock and won't let you sink into the mattress at all! Full support. Finally, someone gets me. If you like firm, and I mean FIRM, and like simple spring coils with no extra frills, bells, or whistles like some of these complicated mattresses with their foam layers of nonsense out there have, this mattress is for you.

Worst mattress...

This mattress has been the worst I've owned in my life. Not even a year old and it had to be replaced. It slid all over my box spring, my sheets popped off and they were 16" gusset...certainly BIG enough. Then it developed a B I G dip and the cover stretched all out of shape. My mattress's usually last 8-10 yrs. I'm old and have slept on a LOT of beds. I will NOT be buying a Beautyrest ever again.

Reviews helped us make the decision to buy this mattress. Good move! My husband loves it and his back pain improved tremendously in about 3 days! The last mattress this one replaced was not a year old. $500 down the drain! We went to the local stores and sat on the edge, laid down, bounced...did everything we could to purchase him a good mattress. Within a few months he could not sit on the side to put his shoes on because it caved in and his back began killing him. Enough was enough! Luckily we purchased twin XL beds and put them on a king frame. At least we only had to replace his mattress! Twin XLs are also more convenient to move upstairs. Anyway, we went to Amazon. Read the reviews. Ordered this mattress. My husband was dreading having to wait a couple of weeks for it. Luckily it arrived in about two days! The mattress has a ton of support yet has a lot of softness about it. He can actually sit of the side of the bed without being dumped on the floor! ( A side note...my husband is overweight.) So glad we were able to purchase a comfortable mattress with lots of support!
