About the Author
Michael holds a Master's Degree in Ministry (Spiritual Formation) from St. Stephen's University and has authored "Becoming Love: Avoiding Common Forms of Christian Insanity." An out-of-the-box pastor with over 20 years of ministry experience, his experience in social service ministry ranges from developing a drop-in centre for youth and adults, working with people with addictions, to outreach activities to the financially challenged, youth at risk and the over-churched (spiritually abused). Michael has extensive experience with small groups of Christians in simple forms of church. Michael possesses a real passion and gifting for providing spiritual direction in areas of healing and integration of healthy faith into real life.
A dynamic communicator, Michael has spoken at many churches and conferences in Canada and the United States. He is also aconsultant, friend and confident to a number of Business and Church / Ministry leaders.
Mike is happily married to Andrea for twenty-five years and has three amazing sons (8, 18 and 21). Michael is an associate hospital Chaplain. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Mosaic Network based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, licensed through Vineyard Churches Canada and is a member of the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association and follows the ESDA Code of Ethics and statement of faith.
