About the Author
Andrea Pippins is the creator of the empowering coloring book for all ages I Love My Hair, which Bustle called “the girl power stress-reliever we all needed.” She is a tastemaker, an artist, a designer, and an educator with an eye for bold colors and funky patterns. Her work can be seen in magazines and on television as well as on clothing and stationery. In addition to designing and illustrating, Andrea curates her art and design blog, Fly, a weekly resource to inspire young women to pursue their creative passions. She also produces digital and screen-printed artwork in which she explores her love of color, pattern, and texture while interpreting her personal experiences as an African American woman. Andrea is based in Baltimore, Maryland. Learn more at andreapippins.com.

The paper is not perforated (it is bound like a softcover tradesize book) and it is thick. I used markers on one of the pages and there was no bleed through. I would not suggest tearing out pages though. The book, as a whole, is a journal of your work and perhaps even your progression.
If you like to color a little bit, but also like to journal and need a place to gather your thoughts this would be the perfect book for you. And if you're afraid you haven't any creativity this book will set a fire to that ember within you, so give it a try!
