About the Author
Belinda Barrocks was born to a Ugandan from East Africa, and an Anglo Indian mixed woman of British/Portguese descent. Living in a country overrun with turmoil- military were killing people, immigrants trying to find refuge in other parts of the country; and during all this, Belinda's parents had to live in separate countries to make a living for their family. Through this, Belinda went through some horrible events that would shape her life forever. She came through her trials victoriously, and now spends her time helping others be victorious in their circumstances. Be a Warrior, not a worrier!

Her story is one of facing and vanquishing demons of the past using a sword, maybe not of the physical kind, but from inner strength and determination.
I found myself highlighting various statements she made throughout as affirmations I too could apply to my own circumstances, one of which is,
“The rush of the winds got stronger and the storm moved in around her. With every breath in her she whispered to the storm, “You will not take me down, you will not break me; for I will use this storm to build strength and allow the harshness of the winds to revive and make me once again.” #IAMWarrior.
Every one has their battles, whether internal or external and this Queen shows you how to embrace them, while declaring victory over them all.
