The bed frame was well packaged and not too heavy to carry put stairs. I spent 5 minutes unwrapping the plastic and protective styrofoam. The frame took an additional 10 minutes to put together. There are 6 main pieces and 14 support beams - same size screws for almost everything (1 long screw for the center beam support connection). It truly is noiseless, no creaky sounds. I love how this will be portable to move if I ever have to in the future. :) Would definitely buy this again for future bedrooms and would recommend to anyone. - It does come with slots for headboards, if you chose to add that.
