Beefsteak tomatoes will never go out of style in the tomato connoisseur's garden. This old favorite is the HUGE variety to grow if you want big, meaty, thick, tasty tomatoes that make thick slices for sandwiches. The fruits, sometimes reaching two pounds are excellent for stuffing or for any dish that requires a lot of tomatoes with rich tomato flavor. The vines are so vigorous, that we recommend a sturdy wire cage to hold them up along with their hefty tomatoes. An indeterminate type, they will keep producing until the first fall frost. This packet plants: 20 plants (after thinning).

I'm changing this from 4 to 5 stars... my tomato plants are growing VERY well!!! They have been out in the graden for a month and each already has at least 10 tomatoes forming and they are growing bigger everyday!!! can't wait to eat them!
I hope to save a lot of seeds and see how well they do next year as well.
The plants grew great and grew HUGE! Everyone that has seen them has commented on how great they look, far bigger and healthier than my friends who have plants from retail stores.
