I have this movie, Beethoven, and it's a good movie. It's also one of my favorite movies to watch, and I find it's still one of the greatest movies of all time. I remember when this movie came out, I was a kid and I liked it. I also have Beethoven's 2nd, and that's also a good movie with Beethoven, a female dog, and four puppies. And Charles Grodin and the same set of other characters that were in this 1st Beethoven sequel is in the 2nd Beethoven sequel . The other five sequels of Beethoven does not have Charles Grodin and the same set of other characters, and I would hate to see them without Charles Grodin and the same set of other characters. So I would just stick with watching this 1st Beethoven sequel and Beethoven's 2nd that I have both on DVD's.
And by me watching this movie, Beethoven, I thought Beethoven was a good and brave dog, and this movie shows that he was. I even noticed that this movie was filmed in a nice, clean, and quiet neighborhood where Beethoven and the Newton family lived. So whenever I watch this movie, it makes me feel like I'm somewhere safe. And that's what I find myself thinking when I watch this movie with Beethoven, because I like quiet neighborhoods. And that's also what makes this movie, Beethoven my favorite. But what I don't like about this movie is the actor that played the veterinarian doctor as (Dr. Herman Varnick), and that actor is Dean Jones. I find that Dean Jones from this movie was very mean and abusive to Beethoven, and almost had Beethoven killed by shooting him in a warehouse with a whole bunch of other dogs. And it kinda makes me sad whenever I watch the scene where that man goes over to the Newton family's house and abuse Beethoven, because this movie shows Beethoven being a good dog and loving the family, and he didn't deserve to be abused by that veterinarian doctor. The kids of the Newton family didn't even like him, especially the little girl who saw him hit and abused Beethoven throughout her bedroom window and in the backyard. I honestly don't even like that guy Dean Jones myself, who played (Dr. Herman Varnick) and the veterinarian doctor from this movie. And it also makes me sad whenever I see and watch the scene where the father takes Beethoven down to the doctor's office to be put down by Dean Jones as (Dr. Herman Varnick) and the veterinarian doctor, and then come back home without Beethoven. Because again Beethoven was a good dog and loved the family, and he then ends up going to a warehouse with two other associates where there's a whole bunch of other dogs and almost gets killed by Dean Jones as (Dr. Herman Varnick) and the veterinarian doctor. But it then shows the Newton family going and getting back Beethoven from the warehouse, and that's the scene that makes me feel alot better after watching Beethoven be abused and almost killed by Dean Jones as (Dr. Herman Varnick). It's also good for me seeing the father save Beethoven from getting killed by Dean Jones in the warehouse as well, and the last scene shows the Newton family watching the news on TV with all three guys, including Dean Jones as (Dr. Herman Varnick), getting arrested for animal abuse, and I feel that they needed to be arrested. Because those were really bad people, and I honestly don't even like those guys from this movie, including Dean Jones as (Dr. Herman Varnick) and the veterinarian doctor who abused and almost had Beethoven killed. I also like the scene where those two other associates run away from Beethoven and all of those dogs from the warehouse that chase after them, and then get bit by three big junkyard dogs after jumping over a fence. Even that was a need for them, because again those were really bad people.
But other than that, this movie "Beethoven" is still a good movie for me to watch with great memories, and so as the movie "Beethoven's 2nd. There are some other movie sequels of Beethoven, but this 1st sequel of Beethoven and "Beethoven's 2nd" are the only two sequels I would watch.
