This book deals with the continuing love triangle between Robbie, Cam, and Chris. Robbie and Cam are stranded on the island in the wake of hurricane Andrew. Everyone else has evacuated. Her family loses everything and must rebuild. Cam takes off a semester of college to help in the rebuilding process. Robbie travels to her moms home (in hopes of avoiding temptation) to spend the summer with her. This makes for some very interesting dynamics. Then, to her surprise Chris shows up. He had contacted his father and was able to get an internship in one of this father’s companies in the same town. Cam is away for the summer taking a college course. He has no idea Chris and Robbie have been together in the same town all summer. That is until he finds out by accident.
Love, trust, happiness, surprises, lies, betrayal, denial, makes for a very good read. Book 3 is a must read. If you haven’t read Book 1 and 2, I urge you do so. You will not be disappointed. I am eagerly awaiting Book 4, the last book in the series.
