Editorial Reviews

Review

I recently discovered this amazing little book through a friend who shared Begin with Yes with me. Reading it, I knew almost instantly why this small book has become such a phenomenon! Begin with Yes is so much more than just an inspirational book, and it’s very much in line with my fundamental life’s philosophy of opening your heart and mind and embracing change.

This small gem of a book is now celebrating its 10th anniversary and I can truly see why millions of people all over the planet have responded to its invitation to hope again, to believe in one’s dreams again, and most importantly, to believe in oneself again.

Part of the book’s charm and power comes from its simple, yet profound conversational style. The author, Paul Boynton, was trained as a therapist, thus, the message is kind, loving, and grounded in reality. It’s a conversation that gently acknowledges that an authentic and honest life brings both pain and joy, and clouds and sunshine.  It’s also a reminder that despite challenging times, once we embrace change we are more resilient than we may realize and we can access our passions and purpose more easily than we think.

Although I have called this a small book because it’s easy to read and understand, it’s actually a big book because of its open-hearted message that holds a deep respect for our collective journey. It’s the kind of book you’ll want to share with your family and friends and keep by your bedside.  It’s the kind of book that will actually change your life!

Happy anniversary Begin with Yes.  I’m so glad we met!

Love,

Jane Seymour
