Brandon carter is an Internet sensation with results anyone would love to have. His results are a product of his philosophy which he has gleaned from thousands of books. This book is a short mashup of the way he thinks, that causes him to take the action he needs to, to produce his results.
If Somone asked me which book to read to begin their personal development journey it would be this, because he takes the most important ideas from the biggest personal development minds about getting results and puts them into a series of powerful bite sized musings.
Get this one, it's one of my favorites.
What I've learned:
- Brandon's gave me another perception on "consistency" b/c in my own life. I would try to multi-task and do all these personal projects/hobbies all at once but would fail at it because I couldn't fit it all at once. So, I never I accomplished anything because I tried to do a little bit of everything.
- the "100 hour rule" instead of the 1000 hour rule just to be good at something like a hobby
- "Excuses won't save you"
- "Pigeon's vs Eagles"
btw keep up the youtube videos! I've learned a lot from the especially the 48 Laws of Power!
Good stuff Brandon, keep it up.
Short but condensed book the kind to have with you all the time on your phone.
Cool style the writer is great with easy language (English isn't my mother tounge) and i read it with no problem.
Solid information: all information backed with sources and scientific research which is good to the reader to give him further read on the subject and build trust on the writer.
