I tried starting seeds two ways. First, followed the instructions booklet usinf all the items in the kit. All variations of the seeds started to sprout in about 2 weeks. All the seedlings got their first leaves then died. None of them ever got their first "real leaves".
After giving up on them, i tried using grow trays with one seed per tray. Same result.
Finally, tried sprouting a few seeds on wet paper towel inside a baggie. As soon as they started to sprout, I moved to another starter tray in seed.starter soil mix. Theoretically, once the seeds sprout, the mix will provide sufficient fertilizer until they are ready to transplant into their final growing space.
Unfortunately, none of these methods made it to the first set of real leaves stage, so i have to conclude that these seeds were dead to begin with.
UPDATE 04/29/2019: We have 4 thriving tomato plants (one of each variety) growing nicely in grow bags. Although these got a bit of a slow start, they are doing well, and we're hoping to see some actual fruit in the next week or two. The slow start probably had more to do with our starting them a bit too early and our cooler weather than normal for our area. BTW, all 4 of these tomatoes are indeterminate varieties, if you're wondering.
However, within a week of following the very clear instructions to prepare the pots and soil, I HAVE SEEDLING SPROUTS!!
Of course, I'm still weeks away from actual tomatoes but I'm enthusiastic to see how things progress.
Now, if only Nature's Blossom would make a kit on how to grow BACON for those BLT sandwiches that I'm looking forward to making...
I have grown two blade of grass and something that resembles a sprouting sunflower.
I was super excited when they started growing but now I’m pissed off.
I took a risk ordering this because other people had expressed their dissatisfaction with the product but I was hoping my experience would be different.
It wasn’t.

I like the idea of these and the easy instructions though. I would recommend to the manufacturer of these to describe how im suppose to keep the seeds in warm water for 24 hours. Unless I turn the stove on for 24 hours and set the seeds in water on it, you cant keep water "warm" for 24 hours. I cant give higher than a 2 star review because of the waste of $22.

Don't bother using the cardboard planters or soil the kit comes with. You need an airtight, clear container. I used a dollar store Tupperware container and cactus soil. EVERYTHING has to be sterile. You have to sterilize your container, the soil, the water, any bowls you use etc. Anything that touches the seeds or soil has to be sterilized. Use boiling water on what you can. For the soil, I moisten it then microwave it to around 190°. You do this because one little mould spore will ruin the entire batch of seeds. Use multiple containers so that if mould happens to get in one, the others are still okay.
Put larger rocks (sterilized too!) at the bottom of the container. Mix small rocks with the soil and then add enough water so that its thoroughly soaked. Not waterlogged but close. Add this on top of the rocks. Place the seeds on top of the soil. Put the lid on. Write the date on the top if you want.
Now the second most important part, these seeds need to be WARM to grow. If you have a grow mat, great. If not, put them in a consistently warm spot. The soil in my containers is about 85° all of the time. The seeds need light. I use grow lights, 12 hours on, 12 off. DO NOT OPEN THE CONTAINER!! You will see a lot of condensation, but this is GOOD. They like it and they will grow. Watch your seedlings' colour - yellow/pale= not enough light, red/brown spots = sunburn (too much light), uniformly green = happy seedlings.
Hope it works for you too!

I bought this kit along with the: Pepper kit, Herb Garden kit, Edible Flowers kit, and Berry kit. I have written a review for the Herb Garden kit and Edible Flowers kit as well. The review for this particular kit is as follows:
Conditions present: mid-summer, planted indoors near window. Planted 3 seeds per pot ALTHOUGH instructions stated to plant 2. - Yes, I'm a daredevil :D
Pros:
Extremely simple instructions
The kits come with everything short of water and sunlight.
The kits come with more seeds than you actually are advised to use, so you can save the rest for another time!
Germination success rate is: 3/3 types of seeds germinated
All seeds that germinated, did so either WELL before the period expected, or right around it.
- 2 Autumn Beauty shoots poked out by day 4, and the 3rd was out by end of day 5
- 2 Giant Grey Stripe shoots poked out by day 5, the 3rd was out by this morning (day 6)
- 2 Dwarf Teddy bear shoots have poked out by day 5, still awaiting for the 3rd one.
Cons:
Unfortunately, as others have mentioned, green/white mold has grown on the bottoms of some of the peat pots. I tend to be a bit overindulgent when it comes to watering, so I can only assume that the water has not dried out enough between watering, and the air around the pots is not being circulated enough. If you do not overwater, and you ensure air is being circulated around the pots (ie humidity is low), this problem should cease.
Customer service:
Their customer service is great, and they reply to emails promptly with clear responses. I could not ask for more from this company, and you can bet that if there were more kits, I would order more! By the way, make sure you check the inside of the box thoroughly! I received a scratch card in one of my kits and got 25% off my next kit! I ordered the Succulent kit. Due to some Amazon issue, they weren't able to apply the coupon code, but instead they gave me the kit for free! Definitely not the reason I'm raving about them, but this was just another layer of excellence.

We also bought the Bonzi Tree Kit (comes with 4 different varieties) and had much better results. 2 varieties didn't grow at all. The pine tree grew great (had 4 spout in a single pot!), a single of another variety sprouted and is doing well (it's been about 4.5 months). So overall we will have got 2 trees successfully from the kit if they continue to thrive (with the 4 pine trees in one pot, you have to cut them down to a single tree over time. Only the strong survive!)

Update: after 8 days of germination 1 sprout from the cactus mix, and after 2 more days some sprouts twins came up.
I did accidentally knock one pot over and one fell out gently, I gently replaced it gave it a bit extra water and placed them further from the heat(it became pale not much longer) the following day there was a bit of stress damage on the top (reddish brown) and it returned to a less pale to green but still not doing well(pale). So I noted that and put some wrap on it again, and it has returned to its green colour, still stress damage, which I think may stay if it survives but it seems it is ok for now. Praying they survive!
