The book is very good, (compared to his last); the story is great, and the writing has definitely improved. The characters are well rounded; even to the point where the author keeps the supporting characters histories brief.
It's a fast pace adventure that includes robbery, murder, and deception and as in his last book; a 'never saw that coming' twist.
The author has tweaked this reader's interest in the next book and would also suggest you give the author another look. Kisses.
returns to work to find that Patricia Jennings has replaced his partner, Charlie
Evans who was also murdered when Jacob was injured.
Banks are being robbed and their managers and their family are being murdered.
Hayden and Patricia are trying to solve the murders and bank robberies.
This story kept me guessing right to the end, with a twist that I did not see coming.
I am looking forward to reading some more of Charles Prandy stories.
What an intriguing, intense, sad, but compelling crime suspense story this was. This author has blown me away with the spell bounding images of each scene in this story. From who committed the crimes, to why the crimes were committed, to who the victims... Just flowed and connected together perfectly.
Wow! Now I have to read the first book in this series. I'm completely hooked.
Even with all the negatives, I was intrigued by the plot, drawn in to the last and thought the final paragraph was perfect. My suggestion to Charles Prandy is to hire a college English major to clean up your act and write, write, write.
