Other than that, this is a great book! Don't read it for the info, because it's flawed, but the experiences of prison work are dead on. The section on staff members eating their own young is amazingly accurate. Law Enforcement in all its forms is well known for how hard they are on each other and he does a great job of explaining it. I know I complained quite a bit about the factual errors but the reality is if you've never worked in corrections or are just starting in corrections this will do the best job of opening your eyes to the experiences of those of us who do. If you already work in corrections this book will bring a smile to your face because of the author's refusal to hold anything or any language back from the reader. For example, there's a whole section/chapter just on prison lingo, words like punk are not only defined but also given examples of when and when not to use them, lol.
Great book! (Very short, read it in two or three days)
I highly recommend this book to all Corrections Officers ( of every level) and to anybody who wants to see THE REAL world of prison life... Five stars...
My favorite part is the Glossary of Terms, Boss.
