This is my final step after almost any finishing schedule. I like a hand-rubbed oil finish look because I work with full dimension hardwoods, but I prefer the more robust catalyzed varnishes and lacquers for their added protection. It works with polyurethanes, acrylics, CAB, conversions, everything I've tried.

A big advantage of using Wool-Lube is that if you decide that additional coats of finish are needed, you can finish right over it! It's not an oil, wax, soap, or silicone.

I've used 3-M pads, 2-0 to 4-0 steel wool, and wet-or-dry sandpaper with it. You need to experiment to get the luster which works for you.

this stuff is killer for a gorgeous finish. Apply with a 0000 steel wool , wipe off the excess and then use 3m hand glaze and you will not be disappointed!

I'm a big fan of Behlen finishing products but I think this is just water and Murphy's Soap. I ended up not using it.
