Ease of Use Create precisely the sound you want with the dedicated LEVEL, TONE and GAIN controls. I played professionally in the 70's and 80's and now just started playing with some other "Old Dudes" for fun so I needed to get a few new pedals and a new small amp. I didn't want to invest a lot of money so I tried the Behringer BOD. Behringer saves money by using plastic in the construction but they don't sacrifice anything on the sound quality. I picked up the BOD and the CS-400 compressor, both are great. You really don't need to spend 3x more for another brand that essentially does the same thing.
The pedal is made out of plastic, not metal like the Boss BOD. This is really the only negative I can list. Still, it seems very durable, so for the price, I wouldn't let that discourage me from buying. Think about it, you could buy 3 of these for the price of one Boss blues overdrive pedal. Based on sound quality and price I highly recommend this pedal.
The only thing I don't enjoy about Behringer pedals is their inconsistency with how bright their LEDs are for the on/off signal. This one happens to be not-as-bright than the others that I have.
Overall, this pedal is great!!
