I personally respond much better to very compassionate teachings, for example those of Orin (channeled by Sanaya Roman) and of Aron (channeled by Barbara Brodsky), who teach us not to condemn our ego but rather to love its fearful, wounded aspects so that they may evolve. Only when we truly feel great compassion and forgiveness for ourselves will we be able to truly forgive those that hurt us or hurt others while they act out their own pain and fear.
My own desires do not make me unhappy, far from it! I let the Divine Will handle them, without grabbing at them. I feel so grateful for the abundant life I enjoy! The realization of our individual desires contribute to the expansion of the universe. Look at the world and consider the wonderful inventions that originated in the minds of countless human beings who brought their visions to fruition.
The Anatomy of Desires generally looks at the ego and its desires with severity and, now and again, with compassion, as if to attempt to correct it trajectory. It runs on two tracks.
How to Be Happy Even When You Don't Get What You Want has inspired me deeply and left a lasting impact. If I feel myself slipping or struggling with a specific issue, all I have to do is open this book and read a couple of pages. There is gold everywhere throughout this book, so I let it open where it may and always find the perfect message for me.
Thank you Gina! I just love your work!!
Many Blessings, Kathy
If you have been involved in LOA and are at a place where it doesn't serve you as well as it used to, this is the book for you! The clarity that you will receive from this book is priceless.
I just want to add that although I have read many books from Amazon, this is the first review I have written. This book is a must read!
area. It requires quite a bit from the individual seeking and often really needing the help. The individual is allegedly following "expert" advice. But that is assuming a lot. Motivation and discipline: figure that you, the reader, are sufficiently motivated; you have an issue
you are hoping a book will help you fix, along with a lot of help from you, of course. This is where discipline plays an important roll. Will you read the book? Will you finish the introduction, chapter one? Will you take on the commitment and actually do the work? No you probably won't. Can you actually be happier? Maybe. Will you be. Not likely.
After all how many adults really change.
Sure overweight people, many times, will lose a large amount of weight. Most times though they don't.
But don't care about any of this, because you are you. You can bring very different
qualities and strengths into your life. This book WILL guide you. Ultimately, though,
it is, as it always has been, entirely up to YOU.
Get this book and follow the advice. Get someone who loves you to help keep you on track and offer support and encourage ment. You will do this.
