Great price and it works well for my 2 sets of computer speakers. Please note - the description states a 6-feet cable, however it is only 6 INCHES (as seen in the picture).

Have you been with your IPod, or mp3 player, experiencing great music or maybe watching a movie and someone appears and ask you what is that your enjoying so much, and although you want to earbud that someone you can't because there is only a pair of headphone and you don't want to miss it? Well that problem is solved with this simple gadget. You just connect two headphones and you and that someone can experience the same thing simultaneously. It is really inexpensive and it does not harm the quality of the music or whatever is it your using your mp3 player for. So it is highly recommended...

I tested this for a long flight we have soon. The input to the splitter is stereo, though the output to the two sets of headphones is mono (left and right sound the same). This should be mentioned in the product description, as I would have bought something else.

This audio splitter is great. Not only is it white, which in my opinion looks better, and is more "stylish" compared with the generic Black kind. The connectors are also gold plated, though product specs say it is nickel plated, making the audio loss a minimum. I personally bought 3 of these, which I connected into one audio output from my computer resulting in making my one audio output into 4. These splitters work great, since the two female connectors are separate, it doesn't interfere with how big the audio plug is. (for those 3.5mm plugs that are so fat, you have to squeeze to fit other plugs in) I havn't had any problems with these, no audio loss, sound isnt cracking like other splitters. Personally, from my experience these are cheaper in price, but better in quality. Two thumbs up.

What can you say? It's a splitter. It splits.
Works great. I have my headphones and my speakers both hooked up to the same jack on my computer, so I can always put on the phones and turn off the speaker when I don't want to disturb someone in the house. WAY easier than constantly swapping plugs back there, which is what I did for a couple of years.

NOTE: if you've never used one, be aware that there's a dramatic dip in volume as soon as you plug in a second headphone. This is no issue with this splitter, it's just how audio works. The only way to keep the volume level even is with a headphone amp, which will run you at least $40 for a crappy one. If you can deal with cranking up the volume a bit, you can't go wrong with this cable.

This splitter serves its purpose so my wife and I can watch whatever we have playing on the laptop together. It is a flexible connection so it does not restrict our movement. The connection holds tightly and it has to go two clicks to seat so the earbuds we use lock into place. The only problem we have is that we have to make sure the earbud plug goes in all the way. We often only get them in to the first click and then only one ear is connected.
