So as soon as I saw these cables, I did not hesitate to get them as I knew that they would be a QUALITY cable. I used this to replace a DVI cable on my computer so there was no real difference in picture quality as DVI carries as much info as HDMI minus audio.
These cables are great, unfortunately, they don't say what spec they are (1.0-1.2a?, 1.3?, 1.4?)
NOTE: If your computer monitor has speakers built in the audio will typically auto revert to the HDMI cable and you may lose your sound output (if hooked up to onboard audio or a dedicated sound card). If this happens, open up device manager (R-click my computer -> properties->device manager), go to the sound, video and game controllers option. Click the triangle, then right click on Nvidia or AMD High definition audio device, then click disable. This will bring back your sound.
The cable is well made and high quality. I had no problem with picture quality or connection issues when setting everything up and like the feel of the cables.
I had a lot of components to hookup so next purchase I decided to try out a cheaper cable that had good reviews. I ended up getting a few of these, Cables To Go - 40315 - 2M (6.5ft) Velocity HDMI Digital Video Cable (Blue), and was not disappointed. They are flimsier than the Belkins but are still a good quality cable. If you'll never touch the cables again after hooking everything else up go with the Velocity but if you plan to mess with the cables on a regular basis the Belkin might be a better idea for you.
I highly recommend any length PureAV cable by Belkin.
