Bell Super 2 MTB Helmet Closeout
|Price:||$52.75 - $202.25|
- Fusion In-Mold Polycarbonate Shell is the result of an in-molding process which bonds the helmet's Microshell to its EPS foam layer for a sturdier, more solid helmet
- Extended Microshell coverage in the back adds even more protection
- Internal Reinforcement is a fortified composite skeleton which allows for bigger vents, more advanced styling and lighter weight, while still meeting stringent safety standards
- 23 large channeled vents bring cool air in through the front, allowing it to pass over your head and then flushes warm air out of the rear ports -- so YOU stay cool and your HEAD stays cool
- Overbrow Ventilation intakes work with the moto-proven Velocity Flow Ventilation system to actively cool air over the head via 4 ports on the brow of the helmet

Constructed for enduro racers, epic riders and trail enthusiasts, the Bell Super 2 combines gravity and cross-country technologies to create the ideal all-mountain helmet. Lower rear coverage puts more protection at the back of the head. 23 channeled openings, plus Velocity Flow overbrow ports effectively circulate air for dry comfort. Integrated Breakaway Camera Mount delivers solid performance while capturing your ride and innovative GoggleGuide Adjustable Visor System accommodates your goggles or eyewear, making it easy to see what's ahead. New Twin Axis Gear retention system adjusts vertically and circumferentially to give you a perfect fit. Better yet? It's compatible with Bell's Super 2R chin-bar.

UPDATE: Bought the chinbar to supplement this helmet, also a good buy and I do recommend it if you like to ride a variety of terrain and want the extra protection for the more aggressive stuff.
I have a few rides in already with this helmet and it replaces my 5yr. old Giro Feature which I loved, except for the venting (very hot).
I opted for this vs. the newer due to price and the fact I don't care for MIPS.
Pluses are that it looks good, is not overly large looking, the cooling/venting is excellent in my opinion and the fit is pretty good with comfortable padding.
Minuses are the that its a tad heavier than my previous helmet but not overly. The visor could come just a bit lower and should have a retention system that locks it in place (will fix that with double stick tape). The raised visor feature for goggles storing underneath is ridiculous among many brands today in my opinion. My biggest complaint is the foam and padding around the temple/ear area makes wearing any kind of glasses difficult and will require some trimming/modification for ease of wearing glasses not to mention taking them on or off without removing helmet first.
Overall I'm pretty pleased with the helmet.
It looks good, it's comfortable, and well ventilated. When specs are compared, sure, it might be few grams heavier than some competitors, but I can not tell the difference. It just does not feel heavy.
I really like the liner! It is X-Static® Padding, with silver threads that prevents growth of bacteria. Like I said, I've had this helmet for 6 months, and it does not even have slightest smell! And yes, it is comfortable. Size adjustment is easy, there is a turn knob at the back, that can be very easy adjusted with thumb.
Integrated camera mount is a plus, and it can be removed easily if not needed.
I'm gonna get chin bar for it at some point, for those days when I need more protection :)
