    The Professional Series Keyboard delivers features, speed and flexibility right at your fingertips. Not only will you learn your application faster, you will find that you can edit faster with our jog/shuttle controller and Specialty Keys. Color and icon-coded keycaps are standard and, for the first time ever, a jog/shuttle controller has been built into the keyboard. With the integrated jog/shuttle wheel, you can have precise frame-by-frame control over your timeline, video and audio clips without your hands ever having to leave the keyboard. The Professional Series keyboards offer built-in editing technology, the jog/shuttle controller. Having the jog/shuttle right at your fingertips allows you to edit more efficiently and feel more connected to your audio and video clips. The shuttle (outer) ring, allows play and hold at the speed you want, while the jog (inner) wheel allows more finite frame by frame control. Also included are two Specialty Keys which can be programmed for commonly used commands, such as Mark In and Mark Out. Editing your videos has never been easier! Software is included with presets for most popular applications, with additional presets available to download for free. The keyboard also includes web, email, and multimedia keys for additional convenience. Want more? You can create your own settings and even have different presets automatically load with each application you use.

    Letters on keys wears off after a few years
    I've had this keyboard for two years now and the only thing I can really complain about is the letters wear off some of the keys, and the company that makes this doesn't seem to offer any way to contact them. One other thing I noticed with this keyboard is it started making my computer behave strangely and shut down for no apparent reason. Since I replaced it, the strange shutdowns ceased.Otherwise, it works fine.

      Preprogrammed shortcuts and the jog wheel are reason enough to purchase this tool. You could make due with a standard keyboard but why put yourself through the aggravation? The jog wheel is truly my favorite part - allows me to be ultra-precise with my edits! Still functions fine as a standard keyboard for typing, number computation, etc.

      Excellent keyboard that works well with FCP, Premier and AVID MC5. The jog shuttle is an excellent tool for your timeline; seeing as how I have never had a jog shuttle on my old editing systems I find it quite useful. The only problem I have had is sometimes the jog shuttle will lock up when trying to control my old Sony DSR40 DVCAM deck. Not sure if its the drivers for the keyboard, FCP or the deck but I will be calling Bella to find out. Other than that its perfect.

      I am using this for editing a documentary and it is well worth the $160 i paid for it in the time it saves. Great features, like plugging in a mouse, but my fave is the rotary frame advance mechanism.

      First, let me say that I am not new to Mac but I am somewhat of a newby to Final Cut. I have been using this program in my spare time for about 2 years and I have just upgraded to FCE4. There are a lot of shortcuts in Final Cut and when it comes to learning all of the shortcut keys, it can become somewhat of a challange to say the least. (Or should I say, memorize them) The reason I purchased this product was to save time in Final Cut editing and I wanted to make the editing process simple and more enjoyable. For me, this keyboard didn't do that.

      PRO: The Bella keyboard is a quality built product that meets up to the complete description from the manufacturer. This is the only reason it got at least 3 stars.

      PRO/CON: The only advantage that I saw in using this keyboard was that some of the keys are labeled with shortcut symbols and they have pretty colors on them. I could use stickers to do that and save money.

      CON: The Bella keyboard doesn't always use the same modifier keys as Apple does for particular shortcuts. That means learning the shortcut process all over again. (Memorizing)

      CON: The light is useless.

      CON: Pretty expensive for adding only minor improvements to the editing process. (Colored keys and symbols)

      My solution: I returned the Bella keyboard and purchased the Shuttle Pro 2. For me, the Shuttle Pro is just what I needed.
