Giving it a 4 star rating because the paperback book's size is small (6"x81/2") and flimsy for the price.
Would love to see it in hardcopy or cardboard.
Other than that, it's nothing special but that's probably just what it needs to be. My toddler, several months after getting this book, wanted to read this and another book about having a new baby in the house, all day today.
If you want to see how young children might react to being read this book, then watch the video of a grandmother reading it to her grandchildren. I think that we have a dearth of role models for discussing anatomy with children. The video provides a style of reading the book that can be very helpful for shy parents.
'Bellybuttons' should be considered one of the must read books for children.
