BTW: This book retails for $16.95, NOT $999.99! Amazon got that one WRONG!
Full disclosure: I realize this review sounds ridiculously enthusiastic. I do not know Scott Cook, I don't make any props from this post. I just am grateful for this book and hope can continue to make a living publishing books like this. And more. Yay!
I found this book most useful for ideas on where to go. Then turn to a real hiking guide for details. This book is better read in a coffee shop, rather than on the trail.
Save your money and buy "100 Hikes in the Central Oregon Cascades".
