I bought at Ulta. I have thin med-long brown lashes and was looking for something to bring out the length and separate for fullness. I tried They're Real, BAD Gal (both Benefit), Loreal Voluminous Waterproof, and Lancôme Hypnose waterproof. Hopefully the range of products is helpful :)
TR-I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it.
pros-Black was rich, dried super fast (good if you curl), washed off easily (not waterproof), gives a fake lash look in a good way (thick)
cons-Clumpy, but that's what makes it thickening. These are tiny chunks left on the lashes that some chicks won't mind, but I prefer totally smooth/separated. Dries so fast that by the time you grab your lash comb, you can't run it through any lashes stuck together. After 5 mins I did a gentle eye rub test, and all those tiny clumps fell off onto my face.

BG-Great, but almost identical to Voluminous, which is much cheaper, so consider this a review for both.
Pros-Goes on smooth and clump free, Separates and lengthens, you can build thicker lashes with minimal clumping if you let dry between applications. Less flaking than TR, but still a tiny bit.
Cons- Wand is huge! I preferred Voluminous' wand. Dries less quickly (only con if you set curls). Save your money and get Voluminous, especially for a waterproof formula.

Lancôme-I wanted to hate it, but I love it. It actually goes on and produces very similar results to the Voluminous, so if you are on a budget, stick with V and you'll be happy. But, the formula is even smoother, the wand is really nice (a little smaller) and the waterproof formula just feels more gentle. I feel like using this stuff will be gentler on my lashes in the long run. No flaking!
Cons-price. I never thought I'd spend over $20 on a mascara, but I'm having a midlife crisis and it's cheaper than a corvette.

I loooove the way it applies, it spreads out your lashes and lengthens so that they look amazing upon application. But when you check the mirror in 2 hours you realize it there are flecks and black smudges above and below your eyes. To me, mascara that smudges within a few hours is a deal breaker.

This mascara isn't my favorite but it isn't bad. I like to get travel size mascara sometimes either to have in my purse or just because I like to try different kinds so I can use it for a while and then use another kind. I think I would probably like this kind better in the regular size because it would just be easier to apply because with this one the brush is so close to the handle it makes it a little difficult.

When I hear the name "BADgal Lash", I think this mascara will have the power to pump my lashes to siren status. I read countless reviews that seemed to confirm this notion of mine before deciding to order this product. To my dismay, this mascara barely pumped up my lashes at all. I never use on myself, but may consider using it for my next prank on my boyfriend.

If you want bada** lashes without the price, try using Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express with Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express mascara, or Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara which will cost you about the same as BADgal Lash mascara.

This little tube of mascara is terrific! Great, thick, quick coverage with minimal clumping. Big, full brush. Convenient purse size. Best mascara I have used in years.

I bought this mini mascara to try the BADgirl lash product. I remember borrowing it once from a friend several years ago, and thinking it was the best mascera ever and I'm always on the search for a good mascara to make my small eyelashes stand out. Comparing it to my current favorite mascara:CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume Blasting Mascara, Very Black 800. Honestly, I think it makes my lashes appear fuller, but not really longer or stand out more than the lash blast does. I found it best to use the BaDgirl lash first, and them the lash blast over it, for a really awesome look. However, part of the problem could be the small container, rather than a full size mascara. I find it difficult to use the small brush, and difficult to maneuver it to get all my lashes at a good angle, so perhaps with the full size mascara of BADgirl it would look better. Bottom line: it definitely makes my lashes look fuller, but I'm not ready to spend the money on a full size one of it, when it doesn't do that much more than my current favorite which I can buy for cheap at my local drugstore.

Well since I paid $20 I was expecting this to live up to it's name and description of producing big, thick bold lashes, I have very thin lashes naturally, so I look for mascaras that I don't have to apply 20 coats of to get a bit of drama. Sadly, this is one that you need to apply about that many coats to get anywhere. Three coats looked like one regular coat of mascara. I even tried it on a few friends who have thicker lashes than I- no better results.

:-( This product does not deliver the full black eyelash look that I was looking for.. This might work for someone who craves a more natural approach..As for me, I like long dramatic lashes..
