I found this line to be a good all around line. I have used it on crappie, bass, perch, and trout. It seems to vanish fairly well once in the water. although it was not as bright as the transition line it was easier to see than clear or green line. it has pretty good stretch to it. It took it a while to absorb water and it keep a good casting quality to it. not as sensitive as i would have liked but I have been useing a flourocarbin line on my spinning rig and realy liked the feel of it. I switched to this from vanish transition which is really bright out of the water. Much brighter than the transoptic. It spools up nicely and did lay on the spool better than the floro line as expected but I think the 4lb transition is the line I will switch back too. I didn't have much problems will the transition just wanted to try this mono out to see if it was as bright as the flouro line.

I would say this is like XT with a shine to it. if I stay with a mono line this will be the line for now.

Pretty cool. It's white until it gets wet than it turns gold on your spool. As far as I know the fish don't see it. I always used the green colored lines also in 4lbs test, but I thought just for fun I would try something new. Not much luck though with this line but it is a cool and interesting concept.

purchased this line in 6# test from a store locally. Took it on a spinner to my local trout pound that the ice has just come off It was quite good. Landed roughly 8 fish and lost about 5 due to my own faults. one rainbow trout being over 23 inches and about 8-9 pounds. This line has been great so far. only one snarl occurred but was a quick easy fix. Usually fish for bass, pike and walleye with braid but I really like how translucent this line is in the water, it just disappears.

I tried this line to see the difference between flouro and this, the floro is a pain to break in to the reel and was please to see this wasn't, I know it is mono but the stretch is a lot less reg trilene but is there. It does disappear well and I think I will use it more and flouro a little less.

I am using this line on a baitcasting reel and so far i like the line. I do some catfishing at a local pond so being able to see my line is an advantage over my buddy and his near invisible fluorocarbon line. If you use this line I would recommend using a fluorocarbon leader because it is less visible to the fish. I will also be using this line for trollling for trout, and possibly icefishing. I bought this in a 12 pound test, because you really shouldn't put smaller than that on a baitcasting reel, but the larger diameter makes knots a little harder to tie. This is an all around great line and I would recommend this line if seeing your line is important for your current fishing conditions.

I recently used this line in 6# test for some river fishing with crank baits and lead head jigs. I used this line for about two hours and I have never seen line that twisted so much. None of the desirable features this line may have had are good enough to offset this excessive twisting. I tried using a swivel and that did not help. I tried trailing the line (without a lure attached) behind the boat to remove the line twist and that did not help. I found myself spending so much time untangling the line that it was costing me 25-30 per cent of the time my lures should have been in the water. I know I had the line properly wound on the reel. I cannot recommend this line to anyone. Fortunately, I had another pole with me spooled with 8# test with line from another company and I fished with it for over five hours and never had one single tangle or twist. I am headed to the tackle store to get this line in 6# test. Both reels I used were spincast reels.

Put this line on my grandkids fishing poles, and the calls for grandpa to come straighten out the line stopped. Love this line.

When buying this line I was under the impression that the line would be gold above water and clear below as advertised. I assumed the line would change color based on temperature and I was wrong. The gold color in the line is activated by sunlight. So of your fishing in thw sun you might as well be using yard to fish with. I caught signifigantly less fish and saw numerous fish trail but not strike. I do not recomend this line unless your catfishing in the mud. Its cool to watch the line change color though .
