With Berlin, we see Kadavar continue to deliver riff-tastic rock channeling a 70's pysch rock sound. Berlin is well produced while maintaining a good heavy-haze. Berlin sees the band growing into their own sound. Lord of the Sky starts the album out strong and finishes strong with a trippy German language track. Great live, Kadavar continues to be a force to reckon with. Highly recommended.

In a word, this album is infectious. Kadavar has a unique groove-centered sound that's difficult to categorize but impossible to get out of your head. Kadavar = Trippy 70s influenced German stoner-metal performed by three guys who look like mountain men. What's not to like?

Sooo tired of music nowadays...this is the kind of release that makes one excited about Rock again! Easily the BEST album I've listened to in 2-3 years...avoids all the pitfalls and cliches that most modern bands fall into. Just crank it up and zone out.

24 Hours in and having listened 5 times through, I can honestly give this a five star rating. Not a bad song in the bunch and as good as the songs are individually, they are even better as a whole. If you are a fan of the previous studio albums, or the live disc, make the purchase. It's well worth it.

Retro hippy long-haired metal-blues-hard rock from Germany with plenty of riffs and hooks. I own their previous records and this one delivers again. Yes, they have the sound of early Sabbath, but it absolutely rocks. You will have no regrets!!

3rd album from this trio who have taken their home town as the title; they play 70s influenced, hard ‘n’ heavy guitar rock with some blazing rock ‘n’ roll/metal lead work, crunchy-chug chords and power-roll rhythms. These are songs that will have hair flying and air guitars on full stun; music that requires speakers to be on “11”, so that the bass vibration penetrates the skull. Similarities to the Sword, Black Sabbath, Graveyard, U.F.O., Leaf Hound, Deep Purple, Mt. Carmel. Kadavar rocks out with a genuine, talented immersion that will have guitars doing a trippy psych/blues crawl all around your pure rock ‘n’ roll soul.

I've followed Kadavar from their first album. They are all good but this one is my favorite. They don't keep repeating the same stuff, they evolve and/or change with each album. Also to note, Kadavar has a "throw back sound" but the are not simply repackaging what other bands already did, it's their stuff and is creative.

Favorite song is Last Living Dinosaur, then Filthy Illusion, Lord of the Sky and See the World with Your Own Eyes...

What can I say, this album has basically taken everything that was great about 70's rock and weaved it beautifully through 11 songs, the twelfth song is a bonus track that is great but it's just a bonus. I had the opportunity to see the band touring for this album and if you get a chance to see them live, do it, you will not regret it. This is one of the few bands out there that sounds better live than the album and if you listen to the album you will find that hard to believe because it's perfect in every way.
