Top Customer Reviews
I like these clamps from bessey. They are easy to use and fairly sturdy. How long they last, I can't say as my purchases are still going strong. They grip well and the tips don't swivel out of place when using like some of my other clamps, now religated to outside use on the lawn mower and in the garage. These Bessey XCR-4PC Ratcheting Spring Clamp 2-Inch Capacity, 4-Pack is more expensive at almost 19$, but they are of a quality that I am willing to pay, at this stage of my life.
Even though I bought these from Amazon as sold and stocked by Amazon, they actually arrived packaged from Grizzly, which I thought was interesting. Another review mentions the Irwin clamps are better... but the Irwin clamps are also more expensive.
Finally, I'm not a Bessey fan in any way; this is actually the first Bessey product I've purchased.
Like the spring-only clamps, these also have pivoting ends to accommodate various landscapes. Underneath the handle is a simple trigger for releasing the ratchet lock. So they're easy to use. Just squeeze to lock in place and pull the trigger to release.
There's really not much else to say. I find them very useful.
