I've got lots of Kindle recipe books (I'm a bit addicted to them) but this is hands down far-and-away the best of them all. It's full of beautiful photos of the finished dish and I love the quirky little comments and asides the author has scattered throughout the book. And the recipes themselves are great - some of them are ones I was already familiar with, but most were new to me and sound terrific.
I give this my highest recommendation - I honestly can't imagine someone buying this and regretting it.
This has been an ongoing rant of mine for which numerous authors and their friends tell me that pics are not necessary
in cookbooks. I disagree.
The recipes are simple and yet pleasing to the eye. The only reason that I did not give it a 5 star review is that the authors
did not include nurtritional info for the recipes.

The book is nicely laid out with each recipe clearly distinguished and it does include an interactive Table of Contents listing each recipe that interfaces correctly with the Kindle Navigation Menu. Most thoughtfully, links between recipes have been included that will allow the user to easily find recipes for various required components. I noticed only one subtantial error. The directions given for the pie crust recipe specify rolling the dough to 1/4 inch thick, far thicker than I have ever seen called for. The norm is about 1/8 inch thick.
Some of the recipes come with a colorful photo and a few sentences about the dish. Prep time, cooking time, servings are included along with how to put the dish together with ingredients.
Although no nutritional information you should be able to substitute a healthier choice without taking away much of the flavor.
Some of the recipes you can easily make the day before so you can sleep in to enjoy brunch.
Sunshine fruit salad would be my favorite. Other books by the authors are highlighted at the end.
This is a great cookbook for the home chef embarking on learning how to produce scrumptious breakfasts and brunches.
As to the recipes themselves, I had a hard time deciding which ones to try out. I really liked the Bacon and Egg Hash Brown Cups one so decided to try it. All I can say is...scrumptions! That is one superb recipe and it's so easy to make and tastes so good. My second choice was to try the Scalloped Potato recipe for our supper tonight. It was easy to make and oh-so-good. I love potatoes, and especially scalloped potatoes, so it was a no-brainer for me to try it out. I was not disappointed I can assure you. What a wonderful dish to serve along with sliced ham or meatloaf. I actually served it wil a meatloaf recipe from another cookbook I'm reviewing so that worked out well.
This book has some wonderful recipes and I will definitely use it again. And the book is worth buying just for the photos alone. They are fabulous!
