You can build it with the included allen wrench and open end wrench...and you will be physically in pain. I would put those in a toy set for use by the kids. In addition, frustration would set in very quickly. I strongly recommend using a small ratchet with a 5/32" hex bit on it. Use of an extender may be help in some areas. Additionally, a small vice grip plier (needle nose may work even better) is absolutely essential. You can build the entire set with them. I built the footstool/seats first as they were very easy (used a ratchet screwdriver with 5/32 bit). Then built the sofa. Then built the easiest piece, the table.
There are plenty of hardware pieces (screws, bolts, nuts and washers) to build the set. The nuts for the bolts are lock nuts and only thread a tiny way by hand. The hardware is in a red plastic bag tied with red ribbon. I found it in the box with the chairs.
BE PATIENT. Do not rush. The chairs took 20-25 minutes each to build. The table is the easiest piece to build. There is a lot of satisfaction in building the set yourself.
TL;DR : Good Quality, Good Value, a bit small, a bit tough on assembly. FANTASTIC customer service.

There are small holes you have to put your hand through to get the nut on the screw to tighten. If you buy this set get two pairs of vise grips, one for the nut and one for the Allen wrench to save your hands. It took 4 to 5 hours to put together.
Also when I opened the box the parts box was busted wide open. I didn't have enough screws or nuts to finish. I sent best choice an email. They responded very quickly and I was very happy with the outcome and how they took care of me.
I highly recommend due to how beautiful the set is and the customer support. Only downside is it is hard and time consuming to put together.
