Pointers:
The rear axle is attached to the inside of the jeep by two plastic clips. It sorta looks like its part of the jeep, which has caused some confusion "Missing pieces".
The battery is not connected under the hood. I think that have been some people thinking that the battery wont charge or the jeep wont run because of this....they never connected the battery.

I scanned all the reviews before purchasing and I recall some of the bad comments so I'd like to make it easier for people purchasing this. It's a great toy and it's also easy to modify almost everything on it. I've purchased a 5 point harness(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HEXS2I2/) for my 1 year old, and some jeep decals so far. The wheels are plastic, which I'm looking to replace at some point but I haven't found suitable wheels yet. The rear wheels have a rubber band, I assume for traction. The turning on pavement is a little jerky and so is the stop/starting sometimes but it has good torque. Assembly was longer than stated from most people, which took me about 1 hour including unboxing. The seat is a semi hard plastic which I'm thinking of replacing or buying (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FZGLHYM) for padding or replacing the seat entirely.

Can't complain. My 2 year old and I have put this machine to the test. It's ran through tall grass, up and down hills, and all over the countryside. It may not be the fastest machine on the block, but it doesn't quit. I have upgraded the stock 7AH battery to twin 12AH units as there's a precast 2nd battery housing in the passenger side engine bay, and I routed the radio antenna up through the windshield housing which greatly improved the radio reception. However, if you do add a second battery, please make sure they're wired in parallel, as wiring them in series will produce 24V, and burn up either the motors or gearboxes in very short order. On that note, while I was replacing the stock 18? 16?ga. wiring to the motors with 12ga. to ensure the most efficient power transmission, I split apart one of the gearboxes and was rather impressed. While everything was of course plastic, it was all good reinforced nylon and the fit and finish in assembly seemed solid. I would venture under normal operating conditions the failure mode of this machine will be the electronics under the hood. The remote control seems great out to at least a couple hundred feet with direct line of sight and at least with my toddler quickly averted his poor steering choices. When all else fails the "P" button on the remote kills all power to the driveline. Overall, this machine has seen dozens of hours of use in lots of different conditions, many of which it was probably not designed nor intended to endure, and has performed admirably.

We bought this "Jeep" for our daughter for Christmas 2017. It was a hit! She loved it. Putting it together was not a problem. Everything seemed great. Well, here we are less than 30 days out of the 90 day warranty, and we have a parts issue. The part is a factory part, pre-assembled prior to shipping. It's the front right axle area, the part that holds the tire on. It looks like they used, (for lack of a better word or known name for part) a grommet type fastener. From looking at it, it appears the grommet wasn't fully 'mashed' and didn't create a great hold on the part. Now here we are about 4 months out from Christmas and the wheels are falling off. Called Best Choice Products to ask about this issue, was told there is nothing we can do, other than buy a new one, or fix it ourselves. We are outside of the 90 day warranty, and the actual company that makes these ride on's are 'over seas' is what we were told, and also that we would have to just 'try and look up part on line, since they do not actually have 'parts' or front axle parts.' This is so disappointing on so many levels. First, my 4 year old daughter is the shy type and is only just now getting comfortable riding and driving it, so she has yet to be 'rough' or ride it crazy, 'until the wheels fall off' !!! Second, we lost EVERYTHING in hurricane Irma, and had a very VERY limited budget for Christmas, this was her big gift, and honestly one of her only. It's terrible that a big company such as Best Choice Products sells these items they purchase, but don't think far enough down the road that maybe some people may need replacement parts. I will never buy anything again from this company, and I have and will continue to tell people not to purchase from them as well. I am not hard to get along with, but on top of the disappointment, the customer service was terrible when calling and she didn't even offer anything to help, except by telling us we could do our own search online for the part.

I cannot say enough great things about this jeep! We chose it in the first place due to the functionality. It has working interior and exterior lights; working radio; horn; auxiliary port for MP3 and USB; and it goes VROOM VROOM when it starts up! It has a variable speed remote control which is great for younger riders. My son is just shy of 3 years old. I can control him while he is riding, for now. The attached video should say it all!!!

Bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. Made the mistake of buying it a 6 weeks prior to his birthday which essentially meant that almost half of the 90 day warranty period expired. That was my bad for buying it to early. He has used the Jeep on and off since September, but not more than 10 times as he is still a bit young for it. We got it out this weekend to play with and it turns on, but won't drive. We went back to the manual which did not help, we have reached out to their customer support for help, but all we were told was the product is outside of the 90 day warranty. Not even any help in regards to paying for replacement parts to get it fixed. Bad experience.
Bottom line: 90 DAY WARRANTY - Be Careful. Poor customer support - Product shouldn't break after minimal usage.
