I purchased this to go in front of a fireplace opening (obviously) to keep curious cats away. This is a fairly large screen which worked out perfectly for me. I have about an inch of overlap on each side. I got it in black which looks sharp and it does not look cheap in any way. I have not used it with the fireplace on yet so how it performs long term remains to be seen. First impressions though are a great fit for my needs and decor!

Overall, it’s sturdy, looks nice & you only attach the legs and, voila!, you’re done.
However, the copper paint job was too bright for me. To tone it down I used acrylic paint and dabbed on my “ burnished” look with a wet sponge. This gives you more control as opposed to spray paint. It’s at least as good a job as they did.
