I waited with great anticipation for this book to arrive and it does not disappoint. I believe this book will be enjoyed by both cocktail aficionados as well as novices. The quality of the book itself, with its breathtaking photos is reason enough to purchase the book – the drinks look ready to jump off the page!
One thing I particularly enjoy about each of the recipes is the recommendation of the brand of the various liquors – for example, we all know that there are many, many brands of vodka – all with their unique taste. Jeremy LeBlanc uses his expertise to recommend the ‘best’ liquor for each recipe; in fact, brand recommendations are included for almost every recipe item.
Christine Dionese’s expertise with herbs and natural foods adds a “pop” to each of the drinks. Each time I take a sip of one of my new handcrafted cocktails, I will justify it as food therapy!
I plan to purchase additional copies to give as gifts. This book is a must-have for the bartender in all of us – especially those of us bored with ho-hum drinks!

I'm so happy I found this book. I was looking for some drinks recipes that went beyond your usual beer, wine and margaritas. We are having a holiday party in the beginning of December and I really want to "wow" our guests with some new drinks and make it a party to remember!
The book is really high quality and the pictures are gorgeous. I've tried a few practice runs with some of the recipes and found them very easy to follow. You will love not only the taste of the cocktails but the pretty presentation the unique ingredients allow for.
I'm thinking of buying a few more copies of the book to give as hostess gifts for the other holiday parties we'll attend.

What can I say, I was looking for a cocktail guide for the unskilled (me in anything that has to do with the kitchen) that would wow guests at our housewarming and I found it! Not only was I able to prepare a signature cocktail that matched the theme of our party, but since then have referred to The Best Craft Cocktails for holidays, dinner parties, and any other gather we have and have also referred to it to simply broaden my own liquor combination horizons. I cannot say how much I have enjoyed every drink I've made so far and how excited I am to try what's on every page.
I have ordered a few copies for friends and family as gifts and everyone loves it! Its such a great gift in print; the photos are great and it looks very fancy on your bar.

This book. is beautiful Modern, insightful and chalk full of cocktails for any and every occasion. You could say im a bit bi-est due to the fact that I've actually worked with Jeremy LeBlanc at the Altitude Sky Lounge in San Diego, but that shouldn't steer you away from buying he created for everyone to enjoy. The ingredients that are added to the common cocktails you see at almost every bar and night club, are given some character, flair and exotic twist which will change how you order or make your next favorite drink. This past thanksgiving it literally was the talk at the dinner table and was picked up by almost all of our 30 guests. if not for you're personal collection, it also makes a great holiday gift. I recently was asked by a co-worker if i could pick him up a copy at my local book store after he was unable to fined it at multiple locations in San Diego. its safe to say this book is flying off the shelves. if you happen to live in San Diego, you should definitely spend an evening at altitude and bring this book with you. Jeremy has been more then happy to sign copies personally.

The Best Craft Cocktails & Bartending With Flair by Jeremy LeBlanc and Christine Dionese is simply the best book on alcoholic beverages anywhere -- BAR none (pun intended). Far from being just a recipe book for mixing drinks, Jeremy and Christine have compiled a biography of unique and fascinating characters -- each with a personality and history of their own.
I grabbed this book thinking I was going to make a few interesting new drinks for fun with some friends. Instead, I was guided step-by-step into crafting concoctions that demanded our respect and admiration. If you follow the recipes as outlined, you'll blend your way into creating some of the most artistic and healthy libations you can imagine.
But no guzzling here; these cocktails insist on being sipped and enjoyed slowly as they lead you into mellow land. Hmm -- I bet Darth Vader would've been much more laid back if he had had this book before the Death Star exploded.
There is one problem, however. As I began to sample my way through some of the recipes, the pages began getting blurry and harder to read. I'd love to see a large print edition.
