I'm a frequent reader of Dave's blog at ETF Digest and his new book doesn't disappoint. It's similar to his blog, providing insight in his entertaining style, but with a longer-term outlook of what's going on in the economy (US and global). He also shares his take on the state of the ETF industry. But perhaps most usefully, Dave selects the 'best' ETFs for segments of the U.S. market, which makes it so much easier to focus my portfolio. There are a lot of ETFs out there. I look forward to his next installment.

This book is a must have for the new DIY investor looking to make sense of the US equities ETF market. This book gave me a great overview of the market that even I as a some-what green DIYer could follow. Additionally, having all US equity ETFs in one place makes it easy to select those I want for my portfolio, particularly in the those in the tech and commodity markets.

I appreciated the author's insight into today's ETF landscape and enjoyed the commentary. I look forward to whatever is next in the series.
