I of course Dolly's character where my dad loved Charles Dunning as the governor. He even worked hard to learn how to do that move with the hat sideways on his head and he makes his move and it sits straight without even being touched. One of my fondest memories of my dad is him and I acting out to the soundtrack at our family New Years Eve party. We had a blast!
Now my granddaughter is into musicals and is always trying to get me to watch one with her. She was surprised when I offered up Best Little Whorehouse in Texas as an option. She was reluctant but she made it thru the whole movie and was asking about the soundtrack.
The overall movie is just amazing. Cheesy as all get out but the actors take that script and run with it making us laugh and lose ourselves in the bright, glittery show. You won't be disappointed.
Burt Reynolds is hilarious and is Dom Dom Delousie. A good watch.
