In the book you will really find a real life example and screenshots with bank account figures. And, as the title says, you will follow author's path to earning $1,300.
However, these earnings are actually the earnings the author got from February 2012 until April this year. This means the author earned $1,300 in 15 months. And these are earnings for having written several books, I'm not sure how many but from what I can detect in the book, the number is two to four.
I can only talk for myself, but I want a better example to follow if I decide to be a Kindle author.
The pace of the book was also too slow for me, it went on and on in detail of how much money was earned in which month. The advice why write under a pen name also didn't need so much space in the book. There was an estimation on how many book sold per day equal what sales rank on Amazon. And there was a chapter on how to find Kindle authors earning decent money. Basically the author is suggesting you find those authors, analyze their book pages for successful sales tips. Really?
The only resource I could use in the future from this book is a list of websites to promote a free Kindle book, of course double checking everything.
If you want to succeed you need a better example to follow and a book more motivating than this one.
I have read numerous books in this genre as I am researching book marketing for my own book (internet search for "how to speak geek"), and have picked up a number of really great tips I intend to implement.
Recommended and well worth a read!
