I was planning a weekend FAMILY trip to Las Vegas with the neighbors and since they have never been there with their children (and I have taken mine several times), I was asked to come up with a game plan. I saw this book and it was absolutely screaming my name. It's exactly the kind of "plan" that I adore, and excel at executing, by the way. The part that I didn't factor in was my new talent of losing my voice from reading the book out loud to my husband and kids for the whole drive up the freeway to Sin City (4 hours, give or take a few potty breaks). I was super impressed with the extra tidbits in the back that include Primm, since we stop there and ride the roller coaster that Buffalo Bills offers. My neighbor was concerned about keeping our 5 kids entertained without spending a fortune in arcades, but the "Strip Search" that I referred to as a "Treasure Hunt" kept the older two busy the entire weekend! I actually had to take the book out of the oldest child's hands because she was attempting to walk through a casino while reading it. The 3 younger boys were too busy watching fountains and checking out car bling, and I was surprised to learn that these particular children think the public buses are "straight up fancy"! Whatever works. Everybody managed to have a blast, and the girls (ages 13 & 11) are already requesting a return trip so they can hunt down the items we didn't have time to get to.

This book gave me the usual hotel and food hotspots but also filled me in on things I had no clue about. Its a great read (i read it the moment I got it and several times since). Dont be a fool. This book not only gives you all kinds of info but it is actually a fun game if you choose it to be! The Authors did a marvelous job researching all the topics in the book! My favorite is the M&M store, love those chocolate bites! Just wished the M&M characters were real!!!! Besides gambling there is a huge amount of other things to do in Vegas. Betcha Missed It will help you get to the other side of Vegas!

WOW! This book was amazing and was super beneficial. It made our trip way better. We had no idea what to do while in Vegas but this book gave us endless amounts of ideas. I grew up in Vegas and still had no idea any of these places existed. The best Vegas trip I have ever been on, and the sole reason was this book. Highly recommend this book to everyone from Vegas veterans to Vegas virgins. This is a must read! The authors must be super awesome!!

This book is a MUST HAVE for locals as well as tourists! As a local, there are so many fun things to do that I didn't even know about, or simply can never think of when friends come to visit.
