After Claire's mother dies, she and her husband move back to her childhood home only to have the abusive and traumatic memories of her mother come back and bring unrest into the house. Claire soon finds herself in a fog of past and present when her imaginary friend from childhood begins haunting her memories. What is this terrifying thing that is trying to reach out to her, and what does it want?
I think the woman's seemingly psychosis was interesting and a little disturbing until things begin to unfold. Interesting ending. I'd have given it 3 1/2 stars if I could. Interesting for Shannen Doherty to appear as the mother... Fitting considering some of her other roles! LMAO
It was kind of slow but the ending was excellent, and Shannon Doherty did a great job, per usual. She was the best actor in the movie. She looked nice and healthy too. If she wasn't in it, I would have given it three stars.
It seems a little odd at first, but everything is important. I couldn't decide what was really going on until near the end, and it still had an unexpected twist (or two). Great psychological, spooky, thriller/horror..?..
I liked it! The acting wasn't amazing but was good. The story was pretty good. I think there was supposed to be a twist but it didn't surprise me. However, a different part of the movie totally caught me off guard. I will definitely watch this one again.
