Good quality game, I like the traitor concept. Also, the tile placement, the randomization of the cards, dice and tiles gives this game a great replay value.

Got this game in the mail four days ago. Gotten the chance to play it twice with the same people and we got a haunt that seemed a bit sub-par the first time but the second time was better. So far it somewhat seems to be easily weighed onto the explorer's side, but maybe that's just the two haunts we've gotten.

Aside from that, the gameplay itself is very fun. The only reason I'm giving this three stars rather than four stars is because the packaging for the small cardboard pieces is incredibly frustrating and ultimately led to a fair amount of them having small tears in them and even some of the larger pieces, such as the character boards, to also want to tear apart from the board when trying to remove from the serrated piece. It seemed almost as if the serration was not enough for all of the pieces.

All in all, good game but either needs to fix up how many pieces it comes with/uses since there's so damn many of the tiny cardboard pieces, or come up with a better way to package them so that the customer is not tearing them left and right when removing them.

Really fun, always a different experience when you play it. The people that came up with this game really get the concept of horror!

You'll never play it the same way twice, and it's really spooky how relevant cards stick to rooms- I dunno, confirmation bias maybe? Great game for three friends and one jerk.

Enjoyable board game for all skill levels. The only downside is that it can be heavily rigged if unlucky, which might turn people off the game.

This game has provided so many fun nights.
The best part is that it's almost impossible to be playing the same scenario twice because based on what happens during the game (which character discovers which room, etc.) you have different scenarios.
Wish I could play with more people, although 3-6 players is a good number and you never get bored.

This is my favorite "board" game ever. I've played it for years and finally got my own copy. The first half of the game is a cooperative exploration of a creepy house, and, once the haunt happens, there are 50 different scenarios that could happen (most involve one of the players now becoming a traitor, as the title suggests). I haven't played through the same haunt scenario twice, but I highly recommend this game to pretty much everybody I know that is into board games (if they don't already have it). There's a new expansion as well, adding 50 new haunts with guest writers like Pendleton Ward (Adventure Time) and Anita Sarkeesian. So yeah, A+ game for original idea and fun to play!
