This time he's been hired by anxious rich parents to bring home their naive young daughter, who's flown the coop with her most unsuitable beau. So far, so good, but while investigating the possible location of the heiress, Rory finds another damsel in distress - and now he's a target too!
Who is the mysterious Holly Rae Burnette and why are people trying to kill her?
How does her job come into the equation?
Who is Nathan - and what's his real name? Why did he target Holly and what happened to him after she went on the run?
How did she come to be at the same location as Rory was investigating?
When does Rory find the girl from his original assignment? How do her parents thank him?
Who is Oral Butkus - and what happens when Crista gets involved with him?
With Russians, FBI, NAS and various other criminals after Holly, Rory must use every ounce of willpower and determination to stay alive.
If you love this devil-may-care man with his integrity and humour in all circumstances, like me you'll heartily thank author Eugene Lloyd Macrae for this excellent adventure that will leave your pulse racing and your heart pounding through every page - it's a winner!
Ft. Meade, MD. Flyn Beacher (NSA Project Director) & Oral Butkus (NSA Program mgr.) had located Holly Rae Burnette (former NSA, CNO).
News flash she is a well-known terrorist.
Rory had met Holly & was doing his best to believe she was not what the headlines said she is.
The media claim she has 500 lbs. of Semtex explosive.
In tow with Holly, Rory had caught up with Kaelyn & Matthew.
Next TV News flash: Nathan Bullgar (Holly’s BF, S & C) body had found in a dumpster behind the Beltway Plaza Mall.
Did Nathan set Holly up?
Rory & Holly while out investigating found Artie Saylor (dentist) shot in his own dental chair.
What does Rico Romero (aka Double-R) want with Crista Willetts (NSA co-worker)?
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. All thoughts & opinions are entirely my own.
A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

high voltage action, violence, suspense, and mystery -- with death looming describe this novel.
Although the banter between them is interesting, it seems that in the beginning paragraphs Holly is not as fearful as she should be. The plot, per se, is not original, but the story line is sufficiently different to make this an entertaining read. It draws you in. Gripping, believable characters populate the novel. Reviewed by the author of The Children's Story, About Good and Evil.
This is the first book I've read by this author but it won't be the last. This novel was fast-paced and the excellent plot was carried by great characters. The author kept moving rapidly along, getting the two main characters squeaking out of frying pans into ever-more dangerous fires.
