I also appreciate the care taken in the construction of the recipes which are created with time-saving in mind -- something I simply haven't seen in any other canning cookbook. You recognize this when you've looked at twenty different recipes for example, the dill pickle or pepper jam recipes. The Dill Pickles rival any I've prepared and require almost no preparation time -- no long brining period. The Cranberry-Pepper Jelly is wonderful, particularly served with Goat Cheese, and unlike other recipes I've tried, takes much less preparation time and is just as delicious. The Spiced Blueberry Jam and Pineapple Marmalade are staples in my house and used at Christmas as small gifts to give to anyone who appears at my door. I would not want to be without this book and highly recommend it to all canners.
