Drain your dishes and save space with the convenient Over the Sink Roll Up Drying Rack. Made from silicone-coated steel, this unique drying rack rolls out to fit neatly over your standard sized kitchen sink, allowing you to dry your dishes, glassware or pots and pans, and then rolls up for easy storage. Plus, it can also double as a trivet to protect your delicate surfaces from hot pots and pans because it's heat resistant to 400 degrees F. Rack measures 13 1/8" x 20 1/2" x 1/4" when fully open.

UPDATE: I got hold of the manufacturer and this is what they said: "The rack is heat-resistant to 400'. Initially we were going to put that it is heat-resistant and that it can be used as a trivet on the packaging however the retailers did not want it on the packaging since we do not have official heat-resistant testing."
water drips into sink instead of onto a towel on the counter, so no more water marks on dark granite
frees up valuable working counter space by sink
can still use sink for most things even while it's in place
easy to roll up and stow under sink
bars flex enough to squeeze sheets and large lids vertically in-between
IT ALSO GETS MOLDY ON THE UNDERSIDE AS THE MATERIAL IS 'STICKY' RUBBERY STUFF--SILICONE MAYBE?
It is a very pale grey and looks nice and neutral. I was very disappointed that you cannot place anything vertically into the slots either. So it is good for a few plates and cups. I'm a single person household and don't use the dishwasher and use a hand rack. Thought this would look nicer but I cannot fit nearly the amount on it because everything HAS TO LAY FLAT. And my heavy stew pot bent it so much I took it off and dried it on a towel on the counter.
THAT'S WHAT I WAS TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM!
THE MOLD IS VERY HARD TO GET OFF AS THE SURFACE IS NOT A NONPOROUS SMOOTH TEXTURE. SEE PICS OF A CLOSE UP OF THE MOLD SPOTS!!! focus isn't great on my camera but you can see the spots. I'm a retired doc so I'm a CLEAN anal nut so I'm not a slob. This gets a wipe down after every use. Nothing gets this mold off. I tried straight bleach--the surface is a spongy silicone-y surface coat and it just either stains it permanently or just doesn't come off. The top looks OK, but UNDER is all staines with black spots. Buy a dark color maybe?
Not sure how well it would work if our sink were smaller (say only 24" or 21" wide…which was the case with our sink in our last home)…but in that case we'd just have to tuck this into a cabinet or drawer when not in use, I guess. We'll find out as our new "in town" condo is a studio with a small sink, and we'll be buying one of these for that kitchen, too.
We'll never use any other type of dish drainer ever again. Brilliant idea, kudos to whoever thought this up/designed it, and many thanks to the company for producing it.
But I still like it a lot even with those issues. It gives me more counter space because it turns your sink into part of the counter. I can put stuff on it and clean the rest of the countertops while the dishes dry on it - then take the dishes off and be done. Of course, you can also just leave dishes in the sink to dry too.
It's very well-made, rolls up and stores easily. If I ever move or renovate so that I have a double sink, this would be amazing. So I am glad I have it, but measure your sink before you order.
