BUT there's a BUT

I didn't know what to expect & I definitely thought it was too expensive BUT there's a BUT. This stuff is amazing & I have just purchased this one again & the chicken one for the first time. I also have the bisque flavor after I bought a bunch of seafood from an Alaskan Seafood Company. You just need a little bit and it goes a very long way. The commercial says it makes things taste like they have been marinating or cooking for hours and that is a fact. Finally some truth in advertising and boy am I happy. This can take over the use of a lot of other the seasonings that are usually too salty. This being bullion of course it contains a ton of salt but you're using so little of it and you're the one adding it so whatever you're cooking you can control the degree of how salty something is quite easily. The mushroom one really makes things taste amazing. I actually sauteed mushrooms and used a very little amount of it in the browned butter and it just enhances the flavor. It is terrific making fish and chicken with it & was easy & I had coated both with just a little & used some herbs which made everything easy & perfect tasting. I'm glad I spend the money, I'm not going to lie I do think it's overpriced but considering all the uses & it's a really good product that I'm already ordering again. I really can't complain about much else. I am definitely going to continue to buy this and use it and enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone and if anyone has any questions that I might be able to answer go ahead ask but my guess is the answer to most of your questions is , it's wonderful, it's worth it and it's okay to spend a few extra dollars if you're getting maximum use out of a product and I am. Go ahead and buy better than bouillon and see for yourself.

The mushroom base is my favorite of all the Better than Bouillon products. I sometimes use it in place of vegetable bouillon. Even if you do not care for mushrooms, you will probably like the flavor of this bouillon. If you do like mushrooms, you really need to try this.

I am on a whole plant, very low fat eating program. I love this base for making soups, stews and for sautéed veggies.
It is very economical compared to canned or bottles broth and it takes up very little space in the frig once opened. I tsp+1 cup water is equal to a bouillon cube. It gives a nice deep flavor to food. I will definitely buy it again, along with the vegetable base product-also great!

I use this to flavor everything that I cook, especially when I use my instant pot. My husband doesn’t like actual mushrooms so I can’t put them in the food because he always sees what I’m cooking. But I’ve noticed when I use this he likes my food even more. I think next time I will get the roasted garlic as well.

I started buying this when it became clear that we'd be cooking at home a whole lot. I love soup and other one-pot meals, and this base allows me to use up a lot of vegetables without any real recipe. It was a life saver when we had a CSA membership over the summer, and now that it's winter I can make soups with potatoes, beans, and frozen vegetables, and it tastes great without much effort. A tiny bit goes a long way. I haven't tried any of the other Better than Bouillon flavors, so I can't compare, but I've been recommending this one to everyone I know.

Broken seal. Unusable product. Unable to return

One of the two jars arrived with the seal broken leaving a gross mess. I am unable to return the product for a refund. Basically I spent a large amount of money for one jar of product. What a rip off! I would give this zero stars if I could.
