I purchased this item thinking I was going to get two 16 ounce jars (the kind Costco use to sell). Instead the product description says you only get one 16 oz. jar. The picture is of an 8 oz. jar then they say 2 PACK. It's misleading, deceptive, and inaccurate. Although the ounces is technically correct the seller uses misleading practices and for that I am returning this product.

I was hesitant to try this initially because of the higher price, but in the final analysis, it's a much better product than bouillon cubes or granules. For starters, it contains actual beef stock rather than the assortment of artificial ingredients than most products pass off as beef flavor. It's made of better ingredients, and that's reflected in its superior taste. I routinely use it as a substitute in any recipe that calls for cubes or granules, and in most recipes that call for beef stock or broth.

I use my Instant Pot almost every day, and it uses lots and lots of beef broth. Keeping that on hand is a real nuisance. Better than Bouillon is handy to have on the shelf (or in the fridge after opening) and makes great tasting beef broth in minutes. 1 teaspoon to a cup of boiling water is all you need. Buying this size from Amazon is easy and cost effective. Highly recommended. Truly better than Bouillon!

I use this product for soups, stews, and chili. Lately I have used it for several pots of chili. It is just right for adding a touch of beef flavor. I put about one rounded teaspoon in about 6 quarts of chili. I use less salt when I use this product, because it is concentrated. The flavor and seasoning is good. I prefer this over cubed or powdered bouillion. I have used this product for years, along with their ham, roasted chicken, and vegetable base products, and I often combine them in my soup, stew, and chili dishes. I recommend this product.

True Costco says 16ounce jars. But when they are out, amazon to the rescue. I don’t mind paying more for quality, and this Is quality.
