This story is focusing on two adults that are caught up in their sexual attraction to each other. Lead male characters moved to this town to co-parent his nephew but isn't spending much time or thought on the child.
No desire to finish this story.
Remember this is my personal opinion and does not reflect on the author.
And then...the f-bomb starts. I don’t mind occasional profanity, but this exceeded anything I can accept. According to my Kindle, the word is used in some form nearly 150 times in the book. Perhaps the author finds that normal and acceptable, but it annoys me. There are other words that can be used that are not this offensive, especially in a book that started out being sweet. It is not a gritty detective novel.
So, I find some of the language jarring enough that I can’t finish the novel, it simply does not fit into the world the author is creating.
I gave two stars because the author writes well. I hope the author is reading this because I cannot be alone in finding lack of good vocabulary in characters an annoyance
I read many, many e-books. This is the second time I have deleted before finishing. Yes, I am offended, yes, I know some people talk this way but I guess I expect more from authors. Actually shame on you...does your mother read what you write? Your characters need a dose of 'class'. Might have been a good story, I'll never know.
Editing is a problem and this book was the worst. The books are so good I overlooked it but it was distracting. Maybe a little too much sex, I just flipped past the scenes after the first couple.
I would recommend this series.

5 out of 5 stars
The story Better Together (A Cedarville Novel Book 4) by Bree Kraemer is a contemporary romance book. Ryan came to Cedarville because he needed help taking care of his nephew. He came to love the town and now he is its newest resident. There is also another reason that he moved to Cedarville and it has everything to do with the beautiful brunette that he found an instant attraction to when they met. Addison is a woman who has gone through life without a lot of friends. She now finds herself with a group of friends that accept her and it is through them that she meets Ryan. She has not had success with relationships in the past. Will this time be different? They both feel the attraction to each other. Read this book to find out what happens when two people find a connection between themselves and go way out of their comfort zones. Could this be true love in the making?
This is the next amazing story in the Cedarville series. I have loved this series since the very first book. Not only does the author give you an amazing storyline she creates characters that are real and that you can relate to. I highly recommend reading this series in order as from the very first book you are introduced to characters that overlap into the next story. While each book’s focus is on one couple, it also updates you on the lives of their friends and family. I absolutely love series like this as you feel like you are catching up with old friends and keeping in touch. This story about Ryan and Addison is a wonderful addition to the series. This couple knows that they are attracted to each other however they are still hesitant. They then find their feelings for each other growing. They have agreed to go slow in their relationship. Will this agreement last? Ryan also has the added responsibility of his nephew in his life. How will this fit into their relationship? Will Ryan and Addison make sure that they keep the lines of communication between each other open or will things that are kept secret lead to misunderstandings?
Once I started reading this book I could not put it down until I finished. I just had to know what happens with Ryan and Addison. This is a book that will have you smiling as you know that this couple is meant for each other. This is also a story that has some very steamy romance scenes. It would be recommended for those 18 years of age or older.

The budding relationship was nicely done, as was the supportive care from friends and family.
The sensual moments in the story were loving and affirming.
The other interesting twist was the orphaned nephew, Reed, for whom Ryan was moving cities. The unconventional co-parenting with friends was an interesting concept.
A great read with a very satisfying and happy ending.
