I loved that love conquers all with the help of communication. Stephanie didn't want to give up on her marriage even after a huge fight where Johnny suggests separation. Johnny realizes he doesn't either, finds his wife, and they make up admitting their love. It's just a feel good book

What a different style Contemporary Romance story this is for Ms. Carlisle! A fun, short & super sexy must read that will keep readers turning pages! ... Oh, did I mention Smoking Hot? ;) This needs a warning label: MUST WEAR GLOVES! ;) lol ... I recommend to any adults 18+ fans of fiction.

This is a quick short read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
John & Stephanie have found themselves in a bit of a marriage rut. They have been married five years and appear to have been taken each other for granted and have lost sight of what brought them together in the first place.
They didn't realize how disconnected they were until an innocent fight has taken a terrible turn . They have said some very horrible things to each other and Stephanie is not sure they will come back from it.
They are attending a wedding reception and Stephanie has come to the conclusion that she will be going alone. She is surprised when John shows up and has a new outlook on their marriage and a few ideas that he would like to propose. I must say he came up a few interesting ideas to help them get over this hurdle and attempt to move past this!!!
I really enjoyed this short read. I would have loved more background and would have loved to have gotten to know the characters more but it was designed to be a quick read! They had a wonderful sexual chemistry and great report with each other. It just goes to show that all marriages take work and creativity to keep it interesting and edgy!!
I look forward to reading more from this author.

You don’t have to be married to appreciate this story. All you have to be is in a relationship to understand how a little thing can get blown out of proportion and how hastily spoken words can bring everything to a standstill.
Empty threats spoken in the heat of the moment are just that: empty. They have no value…unless too much time has passed between the argument and the apologies. Doubts creep in and, before you know it, you’ve talked your way out of what is a great relationship.
Thankfully, that wasn’t the case with Johnny and Stephanie. The reason for their argument was hardly stupid and it definitely wasn’t a little thing. I don’t think many things couples argue about are either of those things. If anything, it was something Johnny and Stephanie needed to talk about before next time happened. Hopefully, it won’t but, hey, it could happen, right?
Ms. Carlisle did a terrific job going back and forth between Johnny and Stephanie’s POVs as well as flashbacks to their argument. Apologies were exchanged. Forgiveness was given. Making up was…perfect and meaningful. A delightful short story that shows the impact words can make but how love, determination, and forgiveness can right the wrong.

I nice short story by Lisa Carlisle
i really loved the way Lisa wrote the story.
Though i have bought some of her books i still didn't had the chance to read one of them and now i feel sad that i hadn't done till now.
It was a small story with lots of heat though too small to form an idea over the characters and the whole story.
It starts with a fight (that we don't know why it was that a big deal..no background into it) and ends with a happy couple with a steamy sex scene and the HEA
it could be a scene from a chapter...of a bigger story or a chapter itself from the bigger story.
I did love the way the story was written and the intense emotions of the character.
A beautiful short story over how something bad can be turned into something nice.
A love story with a HEA despite the turbulences

This was really sweet short. Two people fall in love and stay in love but after the marriage sometimes arguments happen. Differences between two people can either escalate into something bad or can become something that will help two people grow. This short isn't my normal read but I found myself really liking it because I started putting my own marriage thoughts in the mix. What would of happen if the argument that me and my husband had turned into something hot? Unfortunately their wasn't really that much background on the two prior to this. However you find yourself making up background on how they met.
I was given this as a ARC for a honest review.

I enjoyed this book. Got me thinking about what it takes to keep my marriage fresh and alive. It takes more than being in the same building one needs to talk and keep things fresh and alive. Great little short read
