I was a bit skeptical about using this, but it is actually pretty good. I feel like it is a more subtle sweetness than real sugar, but in a good way. I’m not a huge fan of the consistency, but I like it.

Ok so I had never really heard of palm sugar before. But I love my coffee, and over the past 2 years I've been on a journey to really learn coffee. While learning about coffee in other countries I often saw someone using palm sugar to flavor their coffee. Well that made sense, they have palm trees and it was cheaper to them than imported refined sugar. But many of them even if they had access to regular sugar said they preferred the taste of palm sugar in their coffee! That got my attention! So now I had to try it, and of course Amazon was able to supply it to me! I started using palm sugar in my coffee and I really like it, maybe you will too! Now when you research it you will see many claims that it is healthier. I think the actual benefit is very minor. But going strictly by taste, and the fact it is not expensive for me to use, I now like to keep it around! You will get a subtle caramel flavor to your coffee which I like. Of course it can be used in many other things that call for sugar, so give it a try!

Difficult to describe the flavor.. slightly molasses slightly coconut, could be it's own food-group? lol I loved it. I ordered this as an ingredient in Thai iced tea, which I have yet to make but of course I had to try it first.

It may not do it for you if you plan to use it in coffee or over cereal, but I think in any cooked item it will really shine.

Highly recommended.

I’ve boughten this many times. However my last purchase that I received (2) the sugar consistancy had changed. I had a VERY hard time getting the sugar out. Almost felt I needed a hammer too break it up. I think it must be the plastic container it’s stored in. Sorry to say that I will not be ordering again.
