Have to share this as I know there are a lot of people who experience pain.

I originally bought this product to use as I use Epsom Salt. The immediate result was much better. Not sure what happens, obviously the magnesium, but what really sold me on this product was the effect it had on me when I tore my MCL. It did not heal the tear - but it absolutely helped with the pain.

For example - I was hobbling before I got in the bath and was able to walk without hobbling after 20 minutes of soaking. This was during a period of physical therapy and extra exercises.

I was introduced to these after 2 months in hospital on morphine. My entire body hurt with the withdrawal and also rehab from GBS. I have long lasting problems including herniated discs arthritis, nerve pain and peripheral neuropathy.
I have had ‘normal baths’ and the heat helps whilst I’m in it but not when I get out. However in a magnesium bath it takes away the bone and related muscle pain completely and when I get out of the bath for bed (do it before bed!) my whole body feels relaxed and significant improvement in pain often pain free (depends if my nerves are causing pain) So by comparison I can assure you magnesium chloride DOES work. The nights I couldn’t physically get in the bath after hospital were horrendous. The days I couldn’t afford any more magnesium flakes and just had a normal bath were no better. This stuff really is a game changer. It’s worth every penny but for actual pain you want half a kilo in tbe bath or you won’t feel the benefit. It gets pricey. But what price would you put on being pain free ? It’s worth it if you can afford it

There's no scent from these flakes and it doesn't seem to soften the water but you do notice when you take your feet out and dry them. It certainly softens the skin. I've got nerve damage in my feet and the nurse said there was a high risk of complications. So, you take notice of what the nurse says and keep looking after your feet. I bought a good foot bath, a good moisturiser and this bag of flakes. I actually enjoy the experience and my wife kindly clears it all up afterwards as I just sit back and relax.

I unfortunately have ehlers danlos syndrome which is hell for my body and causes a lot of pain and fatigue. I can’t remember what if feels like to not be in pain and not feel like I’m fighting anesthetic yet still unable to sleep, then even if I do sleep I feel no different and like I haven’t. I was recommended magnesium flakes and in honest truth after using Epsom salt didn’t have much hope for it actually helping seen as Epsom salts did absolutely nothing. I ended up just putting a few handfuls in the bath and laying in there. Confess I can spend a long time in bath just trying to melt my muscles so was usual long soak and even topping the bath up with hot water. My muscles are constantly in need of massage thanks to Eds, I have constant pain and muscle spasms throughout my body that get so bad it forces my joints to dislocate with the spasms. as well as pain from dislocations, the damage they do and any thing else that’s happened that day . After a long soak in the bath I went to bed and actually struggled to stay awake. I Ended up falling asleep when I put my daughter to bed, then waking up was rather a surprise especially waking up feeling like I had actually slept. Confess for once I didn’t want to wake up where I’m use to waking up and instantly feeling like I’ve been hit by a bus from pain. This is definitely worth the buy, I do have a spray also although different brand and not so sure about that it’s definitely not as good as the bath or maybe that product isn’t as good as this one. Using this has helped me and does give relief Both from pain and for sleep issues.
